But any sin offering from which some of its blood is brought into the Meeting Tent to make atonement in the sanctuary must not be eaten. It must be burned up in the fire(NET). This includes sin offerings for the high priest himself (Lv. 4:3-12); sin offerings for the whole assembly of Israel (Lv. 4:13-21); and Day of Atonement sin offerings for both the high priest and the assembly to atone for the Holy Place's very presence among the Israelites (Lv. 16:1-34).
