τοῦ Δαυιδ κρῖνόν με κύριε ὅτι ἐγὼ ἐν ἀκακίᾳ μου ἐπορεύθην καὶ ἐπὶ τῷ κυρίῳ ἐλπίζων οὐ μὴ ἀσθενήσω
Ps 25:1
A Psalm of David. To thee, O Lord, have I lifted up my soul.
Ps 25:1
To you, Yahweh, do I lift up my soul.
Ps 25:1Ps 25:1לְדָוִ֡ד אֵלֶ֥יךָ יְ֝הוָ֗ה נַפְשִׁ֥י אֶשָּֽׂא׃Ps 25:1
To you, Yahweh, do I lift up my soul.
2Ps 25:22δοκίμασόν με κύριε καὶ πείρασόν με πύρωσον τοὺς νεφρούς μου καὶ τὴν καρδίαν μουPs 25:2
O my God, I have trusted in thee: let me not be confounded, neither let mine enemies laugh me to scorn.
Ps 25:2
My God, I have trusted in you.
Don’t let me be shamed.
Don’t let my enemies triumph over me.
Ps 25:2Ps 25:2אֱ‍ֽלֹהַ֗י בְּךָ֣ בָ֭טַחְתִּי אַל־אֵב֑וֹשָׁה אַל־יַֽעַלְצ֖וּ אֹיְבַ֣י לִֽי׃Ps 25:2
My God, I have trusted in you.
Don’t let me be shamed.
Don’t let my enemies triumph over me.
3Ps 25:33ὅτι τὸ ἔλεός σου κατέναντι τῶν ὀφθαλμῶν μού ἐστιν καὶ εὐηρέστησα ἐν τῇ ἀληθείᾳ σουPs 25:3
For none of them that wait on thee shall in any wise be ashamed: let them be ashamed that transgress without cause.
Ps 25:3
Yes, no one who waits for you shall be shamed.
They shall be shamed who deal treacherously without cause.
Ps 25:3Ps 25:3גַּ֣ם כָּל־קֹ֭וֶיךָ לֹ֣א יֵבֹ֑שׁוּ יֵ֝בֹ֗שׁוּ הַבּוֹגְדִ֥ים רֵיקָֽם׃Ps 25:3

4Ps 25:44οὐκ ἐκάθισα μετὰ συνεδρίου ματαιότητος καὶ μετὰ παρανομούντων οὐ μὴ εἰσέλθωPs 25:4
Shew me thy ways, O Lord; and teach me thy paths.

Show me your ways, Yahweh.
Teach me your paths.

Show me your ways, Yahweh.

5Ps 25:55ἐμίσησα ἐκκλησίαν πονηρευομένων καὶ μετὰ ἀσεβῶν οὐ μὴ καθίσωPs 25:5
Lead me in thy truth, and teach me: for thou art God my Saviour: and I have waited on thee all the day.

Guide me in your truth, and teach me,
For you are the God of my salvation,
I wait for you all day long.
Ps 25:5Ps 25:5הַדְרִ֘יכֵ֤נִי בַאֲמִתֶּ֨ךָ ׀ וְֽלַמְּדֵ֗נִי כִּֽי־אַ֭תָּה אֱלֹהֵ֣י יִשְׁעִ֑י אוֹתְךָ֥ קִ֝וִּ֗יתִי כָּל־הַיּֽוֹם׃Ps 25:5
Guide me in your truth, and teach me,
For you are the God of my salvation,
I wait for you all day long.
6Ps 25:66νίψομαι ἐν ἀθῴοις τὰς χεῖράς μου καὶ κυκλώσω τὸ θυσιαστήριόν σου κύριεPs 25:6
Remember thy compassions, O Lord, and thy mercies, for they are from everlasting.
Ps 25:6
Yahweh, remember your tender mercies and your loving kindness,
for they are from old times.
Ps 25:6Ps 25:6זְכֹר־רַחֲמֶ֣יךָ יְ֭הוָה וַחֲסָדֶ֑יךָ כִּ֖י מֵעוֹלָ֣ם הֵֽמָּה׃Ps 25:6
Yahweh, remember your tender mercies and your loving kindness,
for they are from old times.
7Ps 25:77τοῦ ἀκοῦσαι φωνὴν αἰνέσεως καὶ διηγήσασθαι πάντα τὰ θαυμάσιά σουPs 25:7
Remember not the sins of my youth, nor my sins of ignorance: remember me according to thy mercy, for thy goodness' sake, O Lord.
Ps 25:7
Don’t remember the sins of my youth, nor my transgressions.
Remember me according to your loving kindness,
for your goodness’ sake, Yahweh.
Ps 25:7Ps 25:7חַטֹּ֤אות נְעוּרַ֨י ׀ וּפְשָׁעַ֗י אַל־תִּ֫זְכֹּ֥ר כְּחַסְדְּךָ֥ זְכָר־לִי־אַ֑תָּה לְמַ֖עַן טוּבְךָ֣ יְהוָֽה׃Ps 25:7
Don’t remember the sins of my youth, nor my transgressions.
Remember me according to your loving kindness,
for your goodness’ sake, Yahweh.
8Ps 25:88κύριε ἠγάπησα εὐπρέπειαν οἴκου σου καὶ τόπον σκηνώματος δόξης σουPs 25:8
Good and upright is the Lord: therefore will he instruct sinners in the way.

Good and upright is Yahweh,
therefore he will instruct sinners in the way.
Ps 25:8Ps 25:8טוֹב־וְיָשָׁ֥ר יְהוָ֑ה עַל־כֵּ֤ן יוֹרֶ֖ה חַטָּאִ֣ים בַּדָּֽרֶךְ׃Ps 25:8
Good and upright is Yahweh,
therefore he will instruct sinners in the way.
9Ps 25:99μὴ συναπολέσῃς μετὰ ἀσεβῶν τὴν ψυχήν μου καὶ μετὰ ἀνδρῶν αἱμάτων τὴν ζωήν μουPs 25:9
The meek will he guide in judgment: the meek will he teach his ways.
Ps 25:9
He will guide the humble in justice.
He will teach the humble his way.
Ps 25:9Ps 25:9יַדְרֵ֣ךְ עֲ֭נָוִים בַּמִּשְׁפָּ֑ט וִֽילַמֵּ֖ד עֲנָוִ֣ים דַּרְכּֽוֹ׃Ps 25:9
He will guide the humble in justice.

10Ps 25:1010ὧν ἐν χερσὶν ἀνομίαι ἡ δεξιὰ αὐτῶν ἐπλήσθη δώρωνPs 25:10
All the ways of the Lord are mercy and truth to them that seek his covenant and his testimonies.

All the paths of Yahweh are loving kindness and truth
to such as keep his covenant and his testimonies.
Ps 25:10Ps 25:10כָּל־אָרְח֣וֹת יְ֭הוָה חֶ֣סֶד וֶאֱמֶ֑ת לְנֹצְרֵ֥י בְ֝רִית֗וֹ וְעֵדֹתָֽיו׃Ps 25:10
All the paths of Yahweh are loving kindness and truth
to such as keep his covenant and his testimonies.
11Ps 25:1111ἐγὼ δὲ ἐν ἀκακίᾳ μου ἐπορεύθην λύτρωσαί με καὶ ἐλέησόν μεPs 25:11
For thy name's sake, O Lord, do thou also be merciful to my sin; for it is great.
Ps 25:11
For your name’s sake, Yahweh,
pardon my iniquity, for it is great.
Ps 25:11Ps 25:11לְמַֽעַן־שִׁמְךָ֥ יְהוָ֑ה וְֽסָלַחְתָּ֥ לַ֝עֲוֹנִ֗י כִּ֣י רַב־הֽוּא׃Ps 25:11
For your name’s sake, Yahweh,
pardon my iniquity, for it is great.
12Ps 25:1212ὁ γὰρ πούς μου ἔστη ἐν εὐθύτητι ἐν ἐκκλησίαις εὐλογήσω σε κύριεPs 25:12
Who is the man that fears the Lord? he shall instruct him in the way which he has chosen.
Ps 25:12
What man is he who fears Yahweh?
He shall instruct him in the way that he shall choose.
Ps 25:12Ps 25:12מִי־זֶ֣ה הָ֭אִישׁ יְרֵ֣א יְהוָ֑ה י֝וֹרֶ֗נּוּ בְּדֶ֣רֶךְ יִבְחָֽר׃Ps 25:12
What man is he who fears Yahweh?
He shall instruct him in the way that he shall choose.
