And Moses answered and said, If they believe me not, and do not hearken to my voice (for they will say, God has not appeared to thee), what shall I say to them?
Ex 4:1¶Moses answered, “But, behold, they will not believe me, nor listen to my voice; for they will say, ‘Yahweh has not appeared to you.’”But Moses answered and said "They won't believe me neither will they listen to the sound of my voice for they're going to say 'God hasn't been beheld by you' for what I am going to tell them."

¶Moses answered, “But, behold, they will not believe me, nor listen to my voice; for they will say, ‘Yahweh has not appeared to you.’”
2Ex 4:22εἶπεν δὲ αὐτῷ κύριος τί τοῦτό ἐστιν τὸ ἐν τῇ χειρί σου ὁ δὲ εἶπεν ῥάβδοςEx 4:2
And the Lord said to him, What is this thing that is in thine hand? and he said, A rod.
Ex 4:2¶Yahweh said to him, “What is that in your hand?”¶He said, “A rod.”But God said to him "What is this thing in your hand?"

Ex 4:2
¶Yahweh said to him, “What is that in your hand?”
¶He said, “A rod.”
3Ex 4:33καὶ εἶπεν ῥῖψον αὐτὴν ἐπὶ τὴν γῆν καὶ ἔρριψεν αὐτὴν ἐπὶ τὴν γῆν καὶ ἐγένετο ὄφις καὶ ἔφυγεν Μωυσῆς ἀπ’ αὐτοῦEx 4:3
And he said, Cast it on the ground: and he cast it on the ground, and it became a serpent, and Moses fled from it.

¶He said, “Throw it on the ground.”
¶He threw it on the ground, and it became a snake; and Moses ran away from it.

¶He said, “Throw it on the ground.”
¶He threw it on the ground, and it became a snake; and Moses ran away from it.
4Ex 4:44καὶ εἶπεν κύριος πρὸς Μωυσῆν ἔκτεινον τὴν χεῖρα καὶ ἐπιλαβοῦ τῆς κέρκου ἐκτείνας οὖν τὴν χεῖρα ἐπελάβετο τῆς κέρκου καὶ ἐγένετο ῥάβδος ἐν τῇ χειρὶ αὐτοῦEx 4:4
And the Lord said to Moses, Stretch forth thine hand, and take hold of its tail: so he stretched forth his hand and took hold of the tail,
Ex 4:4¶Yahweh said to Moses, “Put forth your hand, and take it by the tail.”¶He put forth his hand, and laid hold of it, and it became a rod in his hand.and The Lord said to Moses "Extend the hand and take hold of the tail"
Consequently, upon extending the hand, he took hold of the tail and it became a hooked staff in his hand.

and it became a rod in his hand, —that they may believe thee, that the God of thy fathers has appeared to thee, the God of Abraam, and God of Isaac, and God of Jacob.
Ex 4:5¶“That they may believe that Yahweh, the God of their fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, has appeared to you.”In order that they should believe that He has been beheld by you, The God their fathers, The God of Abraham, The God of Isaak and The God of Jacob.

And the Lord said again to him, Put thine hand into thy bosom; and he put his hand into his bosom, and brought his hand out of his bosom, and his hand became as snow.
Ex 4:6Yahweh said furthermore to him, “Now put your hand inside your cloak.”¶He put his hand inside his cloak, and when he took it out, behold, his hand was leprous, as white as snow.Yet The Lord said again to him "Bring your hand into your bosom" and he brought his hand into his bossom and he took his hand out of his bosom and his hand had become like snow

7Ex 4:77καὶ εἶπεν πάλιν εἰσένεγκε τὴν χεῖρά σου εἰς τὸν κόλπον σου καὶ εἰσήνεγκεν τὴν χεῖρα εἰς τὸν κόλπον αὐτοῦ καὶ ἐξήνεγκεν αὐτὴν ἐκ τοῦ κόλπου αὐτοῦ καὶ πάλιν ἀπεκατέστη εἰς τὴν χρόαν τῆς σαρκὸς αὐτοῦEx 4:7
And he said again, Put thy hand into thy bosom; and he put his hand into his bosom, and brought his hand out of his bosom, and it was again restored to the complexion of his other flesh.
Ex 4:7¶He said, “Put your hand inside your cloak again.”¶He put his hand inside his cloak again, and when he took it out of his cloak, behold, it had turned again as his other flesh.and He said again "Bring your hand into your bosom" and he brought the hand into his bosom and he took it out of his bosom and again it was restored into the skin of his flesh.

8Ex 4:88ἐὰν δὲ μὴ πιστεύσωσίν σοι μηδὲ εἰσακούσωσιν τῆς φωνῆς τοῦ σημείου τοῦ πρώτου πιστεύσουσίν σοι τῆς φωνῆς τοῦ σημείου τοῦ ἐσχάτουEx 4:8
And if they will not believe thee, nor hearken to the voice of the first sign, they will believe thee because of the voice of the second sign.
Ex 4:8¶“It will happen, if they will neither believe you nor listen to the voice of the first sign, that they will believe the voice of the latter sign."But if they will not believe you nor hear the voice of the first sign, they will believe you for the voice of the last sign"

Ex 4:8Ex 4:8וְהָיָה֙ אִם־לֹ֣א יַאֲמִ֣ינוּ לָ֔ךְ וְלֹ֣א יִשְׁמְע֔וּ לְקֹ֖ל הָאֹ֣ת הָרִאשׁ֑וֹן וְהֶֽאֱמִ֔ינוּ לְקֹ֖ל הָאֹ֥ת הָאַחֲרֽוֹן׃Ex 4:8

9Ex 4:99καὶ ἔσται ἐὰν μὴ πιστεύσωσίν σοι τοῖς δυσὶ σημείοις τούτοις μηδὲ εἰσακούσωσιν τῆς φωνῆς σου λήμψῃ ἀπὸ τοῦ ὕδατος τοῦ ποταμοῦ καὶ ἐκχεεῖς ἐπὶ τὸ ξηρόν καὶ ἔσται τὸ ὕδωρ ὃ ἐὰν λάβῃς ἀπὸ τοῦ ποταμοῦ αἷμα ἐπὶ τοῦ ξηροῦEx 4:9
And it shall come to pass if they will not believe thee for these two signs, and will not hearken to thy voice, that thou shalt take of the water of the river and pour it upon the dry land, and the water which thou shalt take from the river shall be blood upon the dry land.
Ex 4:9
It will happen, if they will not believe even these two signs, neither listen to your voice, that you shall take of the water of the river, and pour it on the dry land. The water which you take out of the river will become blood on the dry land.”

It will happen, if they will not believe even these two signs, neither listen to your voice, that you shall take of the water of the river, and pour it on the dry land. The water which you take out of the river will become blood on the dry land.”
10Ex 4:1010εἶπεν δὲ Μωυσῆς πρὸς κύριον δέομαι κύριε οὐχ ἱκανός εἰμι πρὸ τῆς ἐχθὲς οὐδὲ πρὸ τῆς τρίτης ἡμέρας οὐδὲ ἀφ’ οὗ ἤρξω λαλεῖν τῷ θεράποντί σου ἰσχνόφωνος καὶ βραδύγλωσσος ἐγώ εἰμιEx 4:10
And Moses said to the Lord, I pray, Lord, I have not been sufficient in former times, neither from the time that thou hast begun to speak to thy servant: I am weak in speech, and slow-tongued.
Ex 4:10¶Moses said to Yahweh, “O Lord, I am not eloquent, neither before now, nor since you have spoken to your servant; for I am slow of speech, and of a slow tongue.”but Moses said to The Lord "Lord, I need authority, I am not sufficient before yesterday nor after the third day neither from when you began to speak to your attendant, studdering and slow of tongue, I am (ego eimi)".

¶Moses said to Yahweh, “O Lord, I am not eloquent, neither before now, nor since you have spoken to your servant; for I am slow of speech, and of a slow tongue.”
11Ex 4:1111εἶπεν δὲ κύριος πρὸς Μωυσῆν τίς ἔδωκεν στόμα ἀνθρώπῳ καὶ τίς ἐποίησεν δύσκωφον καὶ κωφόν βλέποντα καὶ τυφλόν οὐκ ἐγὼ ὁ θεόςEx 4:11
And the Lord said to Moses, Who has given a mouth to man, and who has made the very hard of hearing, and the deaf, the seeing and the blind? have not I, God?
Ex 4:11¶Yahweh said to him, “Who made man’s mouth? Or who makes one mute, or deaf, or seeing, or blind? Isn’t it I, Yahweh?But The Lord said to Moses "who gave mouth to man and who made deafness and mute, the one seeing and blind, not I The God?"

And now go and I will open thy mouth, and will instruct thee in what thou shalt say.
Ex 4:12Now therefore And now go, and I myself will be with open your mouth, and teach articulate (for) you what you shall are going to speak.”

14Ex 4:1414καὶ θυμωθεὶς ὀργῇ κύριος ἐπὶ Μωυσῆν εἶπεν οὐκ ἰδοὺ Ααρων ὁ ἀδελφός σου ὁ Λευίτης ἐπίσταμαι ὅτι λαλῶν λαλήσει αὐτός σοι καὶ ἰδοὺ αὐτὸς ἐξελεύσεται εἰς συνάντησίν σοι καὶ ἰδών σε χαρήσεται ἐν ἑαυτῷEx 4:14
And the Lord was greatly angered against Moses, and said, Lo! is not Aaron the Levite thy brother? I know that he will surely speak to thee; and, behold, he will come forth to meet thee, and beholding thee he will rejoice within himself.
Ex 4:14¶The anger of Yahweh was kindled against Moses, and he said, “What about Aaron, your brother, the Levite? I know that he can speak well. Also, behold, he comes forth to meet you. When he sees you, he will be glad in his heart.and angered to wrath upon Moses, The Lord said "Behold is not your brother Aaaron the Levite. I understand that while speaking he will speak for you and behold, he will come to meet you and upon seeing you he will rejoice in himself"

¶The anger of Yahweh was kindled against Moses, and he said, “What about Aaron, your brother, the Levite? I know that he can speak well. Also, behold, he comes forth to meet you. When he sees you, he will be glad in his heart.
15Ex 4:1515καὶ ἐρεῖς πρὸς αὐτὸν καὶ δώσεις τὰ ῥήματά μου εἰς τὸ στόμα αὐτοῦ καὶ ἐγὼ ἀνοίξω τὸ στόμα σου καὶ τὸ στόμα αὐτοῦ καὶ συμβιβάσω ὑμᾶς ἃ ποιήσετεEx 4:15
And thou shalt speak to him; and thou shalt put my words into his mouth, and I will open thy mouth and his mouth, and I will instruct you in what ye shall do.
Ex 4:15You And you shall will speak to him, and put the my words in his mouth., and I myself will be with open your mouth, and with his mouth, and will teach articulate (for the both of) you what you shall will do.

And he shall speak for thee to the people, and he shall be thy mouth, and thou shalt be for him in things pertaining to God.
Ex 4:16
He will be your spokesman to the people; and it will happen, that he will be to you a mouth, and you will be to him as God.
Ex 4:16Ex 4:16וְדִבֶּר־ה֥וּא לְךָ֖ אֶל־הָעָ֑ם וְהָ֤יָה הוּא֙ יִֽהְיֶה־לְּךָ֣ לְפֶ֔ה וְאַתָּ֖ה תִּֽהְיֶה־לּ֥וֹ לֵֽאלֹהִֽים׃Ex 4:16
He will be your spokesman to the people; and it will happen, that he will be to you a mouth, and you will be to him as God.
17Ex 4:1717καὶ τὴν ῥάβδον ταύτην τὴν στραφεῖσαν εἰς ὄφιν λήμψῃ ἐν τῇ χειρί σου ἐν ᾗ ποιήσεις ἐν αὐτῇ τὰ σημεῖαEx 4:17
And this rod that was turned into a serpent thou shalt take in thine hand, wherewith thou shalt work miracles.
Ex 4:17
You shall take this rod in your hand, with which you shall do the signs.”
Ex 4:17Ex 4:17וְאֶת־הַמַּטֶּ֥ה הַזֶּ֖ה תִּקַּ֣ח בְּיָדֶ֑ךָ אֲשֶׁ֥ר תַּעֲשֶׂה־בּ֖וֹ אֶת־הָאֹתֹֽת׃ פ Ex 4:17
You shall take this rod in your hand, with which you shall do the signs.”
18Ex 4:1818ἐπορεύθη δὲ Μωυσῆς καὶ ἀπέστρεψεν πρὸς Ιοθορ τὸν γαμβρὸν αὐτοῦ καὶ λέγει πορεύσομαι καὶ ἀποστρέψω πρὸς τοὺς ἀδελφούς μου τοὺς ἐν Αἰγύπτῳ καὶ ὄψομαι εἰ ἔτι ζῶσιν καὶ εἶπεν Ιοθορ Μωυσῇ βάδιζε ὑγιαίνωνEx 4:18
And Moses went and returned to Jothor his father-in-law, and says, I will go and return to my brethren in Egypt, and will see if they are yet living. And Jothor said to Moses, Go in health. And in those days after some time, the king of Egypt died.

¶Moses went and returned to Jethro his father-in-law, and said to him, “Please let me go and return to my brothers who are in Egypt, and see whether they are still alive.”
¶Jethro said to Moses, “Go in peace.”

¶Moses went and returned to Jethro his father-in-law, and said to him, “Please let me go and return to my brothers who are in Egypt, and see whether they are still alive.”
¶Jethro said to Moses, “Go in peace.”
