And it came to pass when the kingdom of Roboam was established, and when he had grown strong, that he forsook the commandments of the Lord, and all Israel with him.
2Chr 12:1¶It happened, when the kingdom of Rehoboam was established, and he was strong, that he forsook the law of Yahweh, and all Israel with him.and it happened that when the kingdom of Rehoboam was established that he utterly left the precepts of The Lord and all Israel with him.

¶It happened, when the kingdom of Rehoboam was established, and he was strong, that he forsook the law of Yahweh, and all Israel with him.
22Chr 12:22καὶ ἐγένετο ἐν τῷ πέμπτῳ ἔτει τῆς βασιλείας Ροβοαμ ἀνέβη Σουσακιμ βασιλεὺς Αἰγύπτου ἐπὶ Ιερουσαλημ ὅτι ἥμαρτον ἐναντίον κυρίου2Chr 12:2
And it came to pass in the fifth year of the reign of Roboam, Susakim king of Egypt came up against Jerusalem, because they had sinned against the Lord,
2Chr 12:2It happened in the fifth year of king Rehoboam, that Shishak king of Egypt came up against Jerusalem, because they had trespassed against Yahweh,and it happened in the fifth year of the kingdom of Rehoboam, Sousakim, king of Egypt ascended upon Jerusalem because they sinned in front of The Lord.

32Chr 12:33ἐν χιλίοις καὶ διακοσίοις ἅρμασιν καὶ ἑξήκοντα χιλιάσιν ἵππων καὶ οὐκ ἦν ἀριθμὸς τοῦ πλήθους τοῦ ἐλθόντος μετ’ αὐτοῦ ἐξ Αἰγύπτου Λίβυες Τρωγλοδύται καὶ Αἰθίοπες2Chr 12:3
with twelve hundred chariots, and sixty thousand horses: and there was no number of the multitude that came with him from Egypt; Libyans, Trogodytes, and Ethiopians.

And they obtained possession of the strong cities, which were in Juda, and came to Jerusalem.

And Samaias the prophet came to Roboam, and to the princes of Juda that were gathered to Jerusalem for fear of Susakim, and said to them, Thus said the Lord, Ye have left me, and I will leave you in the hand of Susakim.
2Chr 12:5Now Shemaiah the prophet came to Rehoboam, and to the princes of Judah, who were gathered together to Jerusalem because of Shishak, and said to them, “Thus says Yahweh, ‘You have forsaken me, therefore have I also left you in the hand of Shishak.’”and Samaias the prophet came to Rehoboam and to the rulers of Judah gathered in Jerusalem from the face of Sousakim and he told them "thus says The Lord 'you have utterly left me, therefore I will utterly leave you in the hands of Sousakim'"

62Chr 12:66καὶ ᾐσχύνθησαν οἱ ἄρχοντες Ισραηλ καὶ ὁ βασιλεὺς καὶ εἶπαν δίκαιος ὁ κύριος2Chr 12:6
And the elders of Israel and the king were ashamed, and said, The Lord is righteous.
2Chr 12:6Then the princes of Israel and the king humbled themselves; and they said, “Yahweh is righteous.”and the rulers and the king were humbled and said "The Lord is righteous"

72Chr 12:77καὶ ἐν τῷ ἰδεῖν κύριον ὅτι ἐνετράπησαν καὶ ἐγένετο λόγος κυρίου πρὸς Σαμαιαν λέγων ἐνετράπησαν οὐ καταφθερῶ αὐτούς καὶ δώσω αὐτοὺς ὡς μικρὸν εἰς σωτηρίαν καὶ οὐ μὴ στάξῃ ὁ θυμός μου ἐν Ιερουσαλημ2Chr 12:7
And when the Lord saw that they repented, then came the word of the Lord to Samaias, saying, They have repented; I will not destroy them, but I will set them in safety for a little while, and my wrath shall not be poured out on Jerusalem.
2Chr 12:7¶When Yahweh saw that they humbled themselves, the word of Yahweh came to Shemaiah, saying, “They have humbled themselves. I will not destroy them; but I will grant them some deliverance, and my wrath shall not be poured out on Jerusalem by the hand of Shishak.When The Lord beheld that they were ashamed, the Word of The Lord happened to Samaian saying "They were ashamed, I will not ruin them, and I will give them a small deliverance and my wrath will not be poured out in Jerusalem

Nevertheless they shall be servants, and know my service, and the service of the kings of the earth.

So Susakim king of Egypt went up against Jerusalem, and took the treasures that were in the house of the Lord, and the treasures that were in the king's house: he took all; and he took the golden shields which Solomon had made.

102Chr 12:1010καὶ ἐποίησεν Ροβοαμ θυρεοὺς χαλκοῦς ἀντ’ αὐτῶν καὶ κατέστησεν ἐπ’ αὐτὸν Σουσακιμ ἄρχοντας παρατρεχόντων τοὺς φυλάσσοντας τὸν πυλῶνα τοῦ βασιλέως2Chr 12:10
And king Roboam made brazen shields instead of them. And Susakim set over him captains of footmen, as keepers of the gate of the king.

And it came to pass, when the king went into the house of the Lord, the guards and the footmen went in, and they that returned to meet the footmen.
2Chr 12:11It was so, that as often as the king entered into the house of Yahweh, the guard came and bore them, and brought them back into the guard room.and it happened that as the king entered into the House of The Lord, the guards entered while the overtakers and the defensemen turned to a meeting

And when he repented, the anger of the Lord turned from him, and did not destroy him utterly; for there were good things in Juda.
2Chr 12:12When he humbled himself, the wrath of Yahweh turned from him, so as not to destroy him altogether: and moreover in Judah there were good things found.and in his humiliation the wrath of The Lord was truned away and it was not the end by destruction, for in Judah, the words were good.

So king Roboam strengthened himself in Jerusalem, and reigned: and Roboam was forty and one years old when he began to reign, and he reigned seventeen years in Jerusalem, in the city which the Lord chose out of all the tribes of the children of Israel to call his name there: and his mother's name was Noomma the Ammanitess.
2Chr 12:13So king Rehoboam strengthened himself in Jerusalem, and reigned: for Rehoboam was forty-one years old when he began to reign, and he reigned seventeen years in Jerusalem, the city which Yahweh had chosen out of all the tribes of Israel, to put his name there: and his mother’s name was Naamah the Ammonitess.and Rehoboam prevailed and reigned and Rehoboam was forty-one when he began to reign and he reigned in Jerusalem seventeen years in the city which The Lord choose his name there out of all the tribes of the sons of Israel and the name of his mother was Noomma the Ammonitess

And he did evil, for he directed not his heart to seek the Lord.
2Chr 12:14He did that which was evil, because he didn’t set his heart to seek Yahweh.and he did that which was evil because he did not direct his heart to seek out The Lord

And the acts of Roboam, the first and the last, behold, are they not written in the book of Samaia the prophet, and Addo the seer, with his achievements.
2Chr 12:15Now the acts of Rehoboam, first and last, aren’t they written in the histories of Shemaiah the prophet and of Iddo the seer, after the way of genealogies? There were wars between Rehoboam and Jeroboam continually.and the words of Rehoboam and his acts, the first and the last, behold, are they not written in the words of Samaia the prophet and the seer Addo? and Rehoboam waged war against Jeroboam all of those days.

And Roboam made war with Jeroboam all his days. And Roboam died with his fathers, and was buried in the city of David: and Abia his son reigned in his stead.
