Gn 4:1

And Adam knew Eve his wife, and she conceived and brought forth Cain and said, I have gained a man through God.

Gn 4:1

~~¶The man knew Eve his wife. She conceived, and gave birth to Cain, and said, “I have gotten a man with Yahweh’s help.”~~So Adam knew Eve, his wife, and upon conceiving, she gave birth to Kain and said "I have acquired a man through God."

Gn 4:2

And she again bore his brother Abel. And Abel was a keeper of sheep, but Cain was a tiller of the ground.

Gn 4:3

And it was so after some time that Cain brought of the fruits of the earth a sacrifice to the Lord.

Gn 4:4

And Abel also brought of the first born of his sheep and of his fatlings, and God looked upon Abel and his gifts,

but Cain and his sacrifices he regarded not, and Cain was exceedingly sorrowful and his countenance fell.

Gn 4:7

Hast thou not sinned if thou hast brought it rightly, but not rightly divided it? be still, to thee shall be his submission, and thou shalt rule over him.

Gn 4:7

~~If you do well, will it not be lifted up? If you don’t do well, sin crouches at the door. Its desire is for you, but you are to rule over it.”~~Whenever you present rightly but you do not apportion rightly you have sinned, Be quiet, the turning around of it is towards you and you will rule over it."

Gn 4:8

And Cain said to Abel his brother, Let us go out into the plain; and it came to pass that when they were in the plain Cain rose up against Abel his brother, and slew him.

It will happen that whoever finds me will kill me.”If you are casting me out from the face of the land and from your face, I will be hidden and I will be of constrictions (afflictions) and trembling upon the land and it will be that anyone finding me will kill me."

Gn 4:15

And the Lord God said to him, Not so, any one that slays Cain shall suffer seven-fold vengeance; and the Lord God set a mark upon Cain that no one that found him might slay him.

~~¶Yahweh said to him, “Therefore whoever slays Cain, vengeance will be taken on him sevenfold.” Yahweh appointed a sign for Cain, lest any finding him should strike him.~~
and The Lord the God said to him "not so, anyone killing Kain will be paralyzed by seven fold justice". And The Lord God placed a sign to Kain to not put him away, all finding him.

Seventy-seven times, which is arguably the intended meaning, would properly be either εβδομηκοντακις επτακις (see εικοσακις απαξ, twenty-one times, Smyth 347) or επτακαιεβδομηκοντακις.
