a προσηλυτους NOT foreigners or aliens.. important distinction because Solomon places them as εργοδιωκτας overseerers/ taskmasters over the people in v 18. It is unlikely that Solomon would specifically put heathen as overseerers/ taskmasters over the people of Israel in the construction of the temple.
