2Chr 12:1

And it came to pass when the kingdom of Roboam was established, and when he had grown strong, that he forsook the commandments of the Lord, and all Israel with him.

And it came to pass in the fifth year of the reign of Roboam, Susakim king of Egypt came up against Jerusalem, because they had sinned against the Lord,

And Samaias the prophet came to Roboam, and to the princes of Juda that were gathered to Jerusalem for fear of Susakim, and said to them, Thus said the Lord, Ye have left me, and I will leave you in the hand of Susakim.

Now Shemaiah the prophet came to Rehoboam, and to the princes of Judah, who were gathered together to Jerusalem because of Shishak, and said to them, “Thus says Yahweh, ‘You have forsaken me, therefore have I also left you in the hand of Shishak.’”and Samaias the prophet came to Rehoboam and to the rulers of Judah gathered in Jerusalem from the face of Sousakim and he told them "thus says The Lord 'you have utterly left me, therefore I will utterly leave you in the hands of Sousakim'"

And when the Lord saw that they repented, then came the word of the Lord to Samaias, saying, They have repented; I will not destroy them, but I will set them in safety for a little while, and my wrath shall not be poured out on Jerusalem.

¶When Yahweh saw that they humbled themselves, the word of Yahweh came to Shemaiah, saying, “They have humbled themselves. I will not destroy them; but I will grant them some deliverance, and my wrath shall not be poured out on Jerusalem by the hand of Shishak.When The Lord beheld that they were ashamed, the Word of The Lord happened to Samaian saying "They were ashamed, I will not ruin them, and I will give them a small deliverance and my wrath will not be poured out in Jerusalem

There were wars between Rehoboam and Jeroboam continually.and the words of Rehoboam and his acts, the first and the last, behold, are they not written in the words of Samaia the prophet and the seer Addo? and Rehoboam waged war against Jeroboam all of those days.
