Ps 70:1
For the end, by David for a remembrance, that the Lord may save me. Draw nigh, O God, to my help.

2Ps 70:12אֱלֹהִ֥ים לְהַצִּילֵ֑נִי יְ֝הוָ֗ה לְעֶזְרָ֥תִי חֽוּשָֽׁה׃Ps 70:1
Hurry, God, to deliver me.
Come quickly to help me, Yahweh.
Ps 69:2Ps 69:2εἰς τὸ σῶσαί με κύριον ὁ θεός εἰς τὴν βοήθειάν μου πρόσχες2

3Ps 70:23יֵבֹ֣שׁוּ וְיַחְפְּרוּ֮ מְבַקְשֵׁ֪י נַ֫פְשִׁ֥י יִסֹּ֣גוּ אָ֭חוֹר וְיִכָּלְמ֑וּ חֲ֝פֵצֵ֗י רָעָתִֽי׃Ps 70:2
Let them be disappointed and confounded who seek my soul.
Let those who desire my ruin be turned back in disgrace.
Ps 69:3Ps 69:3αἰσχυνθείησαν καὶ ἐντραπείησαν οἱ ζητοῦντές μου τὴν ψυχήν ἀποστραφείησαν εἰς τὰ ὀπίσω καὶ καταισχυνθείησαν οἱ βουλόμενοί μοι κακάPs 70:2
Let them be ashamed and confounded that seek my soul: let them be turned backward and put to shame, that wish me evil.
Ps 70:2
Let them be disappointed and confounded who seek my soul.
Let those who desire my ruin be turned back in disgrace.
4Ps 70:34יָ֭שׁוּבוּ עַל־עֵ֣קֶב בָּשְׁתָּ֑ם הָ֝אֹמְרִ֗ים הֶ֘אָ֥ח ׀ הֶאָֽח׃Ps 70:3
Let them be turned because of their shame
Who say, “Aha! Aha!”
Ps 69:4Ps 69:4ἀποστραφείησαν παραυτίκα αἰσχυνόμενοι οἱ λέγοντές μοι εὖγε εὖγεPs 70:3
Let them that say to me, Aha, aha, be turned back and put to shame immediately.
Ps 70:3
Let them be turned because of their shame
Who say, “Aha! Aha!”
5Ps 70:45יָ֘שִׂ֤ישׂוּ וְיִשְׂמְח֨וּ ׀ בְּךָ֗ כָּֽל־מְבַ֫קְשֶׁ֥יךָ וְיֹאמְר֣וּ תָ֭מִיד יִגְדַּ֣ל אֱלֹהִ֑ים אֹ֝הֲבֵ֗י יְשׁוּעָתֶֽךָ׃Ps 70:4
Let all those who seek you rejoice and be glad in you.
Let those who love your salvation continually say,
“Let God be exalted!”
Ps 69:5Ps 69:5ἀγαλλιάσθωσαν καὶ εὐφρανθήτωσαν ἐπὶ σοὶ πάντες οἱ ζητοῦντές σε καὶ λεγέτωσαν διὰ παντός μεγαλυνθήτω ὁ θεός οἱ ἀγαπῶντες τὸ σωτήριόν σουPs 70:4
Let all that seek thee exult and be glad in thee: and let those that love thy salvation say continually, Let God be magnified.

6Ps 70:56וַאֲנִ֤י ׀ עָנִ֣י וְאֶבְיוֹן֮ אֱלֹהִ֪ים חֽוּשָׁ֫ה־לִּ֥י עֶזְרִ֣י וּמְפַלְטִ֣י אַ֑תָּה יְ֝הוָ֗ה אַל־תְּאַחַֽר׃Ps 70:5
But I am poor and needy.
Come to me quickly, God.
You are my help and my deliverer.
Yahweh, don’t delay.
Ps 69:6Ps 69:6ἐγὼ δὲ πτωχὸς καὶ πένης ὁ θεός βοήθησόν μοι βοηθός μου καὶ ῥύστης μου εἶ σύ κύριε μὴ χρονίσῃςPs 70:5
But I am poor and needy; O God, help me: thou art my helper and deliverer, O Lord, delay not.
Ps 70:5
But I am poor and needy.
Come to me quickly, God.
You are my help and my deliverer.
Yahweh, don’t delay.But I am destitute and needy, help me O God!
You are my Helper and my Saviorª, do not tarry!
