Make a joyful shout to God, all the earth!

εἰς τὸ τέλος ᾠδὴ ψαλμοῦ ἀναστάσεως ἀλαλάξατε τῷ θεῷ πᾶσα ἡ γῆ
Ps 66:1
For the end, a Song of Psalm of resurrection. Shout unto God, all the earth.

Make a joyful shout to God, all the earth!
2Ps 66:22זַמְּר֥וּ כְבֽוֹד־שְׁמ֑וֹ שִׂ֥ימוּ כָ֝ב֗וֹד תְּהִלָּתֽוֹ׃Ps 66:2
Sing to the glory of his name!
Offer glory and praise!
Ps 65:2Ps 65:2ψάλατε δὴ τῷ ὀνόματι αὐτοῦ δότε δόξαν αἰνέσει αὐτοῦPs 66:2
O sing praises to his name; give glory to his praise.
Ps 66:2
Sing to the glory of his name!
Offer glory and praise!
3Ps 66:33אִמְר֣וּ לֵ֭אלֹהִים מַה־נּוֹרָ֣א מַעֲשֶׂ֑יךָ בְּרֹ֥ב עֻ֝זְּךָ֗ יְֽכַחֲשׁ֖וּ לְךָ֣ אֹיְבֶֽיךָ׃Ps 66:3
Tell God, “How awesome are your deeds!
Through the greatness of your power, your enemies submit themselves to you.
Ps 65:3Ps 65:3εἴπατε τῷ θεῷ ὡς φοβερὰ τὰ ἔργα σου ἐν τῷ πλήθει τῆς δυνάμεώς σου ψεύσονταί σε οἱ ἐχθροί σουPs 66:3
Say unto God, How awful are thy works! through the greatness of thy power thine enemies shall lie to thee.
Ps 66:3
Tell God, “How awesome are your deeds!
Through the greatness of your power, your enemies submit themselves to you.
4Ps 66:44כָּל־הָאָ֤רֶץ ׀ יִשְׁתַּחֲו֣וּ לְ֭ךָ וִֽיזַמְּרוּ־לָ֑ךְ יְזַמְּר֖וּ שִׁמְךָ֣ סֶֽלָה׃Ps 66:4
All the earth will worship you,
and will sing to you;
they will sing to your name.”
Selah.
Ps 65:4Ps 65:4πᾶσα ἡ γῆ προσκυνησάτωσάν σοι καὶ ψαλάτωσάν σοι ψαλάτωσαν τῷ ὀνόματί σου διάψαλμαPs 66:4
Let all the earth worship thee, and sing to thee; let them sing to thy name. Pause.
Ps 66:4
All the earth will worship you,
and will sing to you;
they will sing to your name.”

5Ps 66:55לְכ֣וּ וּ֭רְאוּ מִפְעֲל֣וֹת אֱלֹהִ֑ים נוֹרָ֥א עֲ֝לִילָ֗ה עַל־בְּנֵ֥י אָדָֽם׃Ps 66:5
Come, and see God’s deeds—
awesome work on behalf of the children of men.
Ps 65:5Ps 65:5δεῦτε καὶ ἴδετε τὰ ἔργα τοῦ θεοῦ φοβερὸς ἐν βουλαῖς ὑπὲρ τοὺς υἱοὺς τῶν ἀνθρώπωνPs 66:5
Come and behold the works of God; he is terrible in his counsels beyond the children of men.
Ps 66:5
Come, and see God’s deeds—
awesome work on behalf of the children of men.
6Ps 66:66הָ֤פַךְ יָ֨ם ׀ לְֽיַבָּשָׁ֗ה בַּ֭נָּהָר יַֽעַבְר֣וּ בְרָ֑גֶל שָׁ֝֗ם נִשְׂמְחָה־בּֽוֹ׃Ps 66:6
He turned the sea into dry land.
They went through the river on foot.
There, we rejoiced in him.
Ps 65:6Ps 65:6ὁ μεταστρέφων τὴν θάλασσαν εἰς ξηράν ἐν ποταμῷ διελεύσονται ποδί ἐκεῖ εὐφρανθησόμεθα ἐπ’ αὐτῷPs 66:6
Who turns the sea into dry land; they shall go through the river on foot; there shall we rejoice in him,

He turned the sea into dry land.
They went through the river on foot.
There, we rejoiced in him.
7Ps 66:77מֹ֘שֵׁ֤ל בִּגְבוּרָת֨וֹ ׀ עוֹלָ֗ם עֵ֭ינָיו בַּגּוֹיִ֣ם תִּצְפֶּ֑ינָה הַסּוֹרְרִ֓ים ׀ אַל־‏{ ירימו יָר֖וּמוּ }‏ לָ֣מוֹ סֶֽלָה׃

Ps 66:7
He rules by his might forever.
His eyes watch the nations.
Don’t let the rebellious rise up against him.

Ps 65:7Ps 65:7τῷ δεσπόζοντι ἐν τῇ δυναστείᾳ αὐτοῦ τοῦ αἰῶνος οἱ ὀφθαλμοὶ αὐτοῦ ἐπὶ τὰ ἔθνη ἐπιβλέπουσιν οἱ παραπικραίνοντες μὴ ὑψούσθωσαν ἐν ἑαυτοῖς διάψαλμαPs 66:7
who by his power is Lord over the age, his eyes look upon the nations; let not them that provoke him be exalted in themselves. Pause.
Ps 66:7
He rules by his might forever.

8Ps 66:88בָּרְכ֖וּ עַמִּ֥ים ׀ אֱלֹהֵ֑ינוּ וְ֝הַשְׁמִ֗יעוּ ק֣וֹל תְּהִלָּתֽוֹ׃Ps 66:8
Praise our God, you peoples!
Make the sound of his praise heard,
Ps 65:8Ps 65:8εὐλογεῖτε ἔθνη τὸν θεὸν ἡμῶν καὶ ἀκουτίσασθε τὴν φωνὴν τῆς αἰνέσεως αὐτοῦPs 66:8
Bless our God, ye Gentiles, and make the voice of his praise to be heard;
Ps 66:8
Praise our God, you peoples!
Make the sound of his praise heard,
9Ps 66:99הַשָּׂ֣ם נַ֭פְשֵׁנוּ בַּֽחַיִּ֑ים וְלֹֽא־נָתַ֖ן לַמּ֣וֹט רַגְלֵֽנוּ׃Ps 66:9
who preserves our life among the living,
and doesn’t allow our feet to be moved.
Ps 65:9Ps 65:9τοῦ θεμένου τὴν ψυχήν μου εἰς ζωὴν καὶ μὴ δόντος εἰς σάλον τοὺς πόδας μουPs 66:9
who quickens my soul in life, and does not suffer my feet to be moved.
Ps 66:9
who preserves our life among the living,
and doesn’t allow our feet to be moved.
10Ps 66:1010כִּֽי־בְחַנְתָּ֥נוּ אֱלֹהִ֑ים צְ֝רַפְתָּ֗נוּ כִּצְרָף־כָּֽסֶף׃Ps 66:10
For you, God, have tested us.
You have refined us, as silver is refined.
Ps 65:10Ps 65:10ὅτι ἐδοκίμασας ἡμᾶς ὁ θεός ἐπύρωσας ἡμᾶς ὡς πυροῦται τὸ ἀργύριονPs 66:10
For thou, O God, has proved us; thou hast tried us with fire as silver is tried.
Ps 66:10
For you, God, have tested us.
You have refined us, as silver is refined.
11Ps 66:1111הֲבֵאתָ֥נוּ בַמְּצוּדָ֑ה שַׂ֖מְתָּ מוּעָקָ֣ה בְמָתְנֵֽינוּ׃Ps 66:11
You brought us into prison.
You laid a burden on our backs.
Ps 65:11Ps 65:11εἰσήγαγες ἡμᾶς εἰς τὴν παγίδα ἔθου θλίψεις ἐπὶ τὸν νῶτον ἡμῶνPs 66:11
Thou broughtest us into the snare; thou laidest afflictions on our back.
Ps 66:11
You brought us into prison.a snareª

12Ps 66:1212הִרְכַּ֥בְתָּ אֱנ֗וֹשׁ לְרֹ֫אשֵׁ֥נוּ בָּֽאנוּ־בָאֵ֥שׁ וּבַמַּ֑יִם וַ֝תּוֹצִיאֵ֗נוּ לָֽרְוָיָֽה׃Ps 66:12
You allowed men to ride over our heads.
We went through fire and through water,
but you brought us to the place of abundance.
Ps 65:12Ps 65:12ἐπεβίβασας ἀνθρώπους ἐπὶ τὰς κεφαλὰς ἡμῶν διήλθομεν διὰ πυρὸς καὶ ὕδατος καὶ ἐξήγαγες ἡμᾶς εἰς ἀναψυχήνPs 66:12
Thou didst mount men upon our heads; we went through the fire and water; but thou broughtest us out into a place of refreshment.
Ps 66:12
You allowed men to ride over our heads.
We went through fire and through water,
but you brought us to the place of abundance.
13Ps 66:1313אָב֣וֹא בֵיתְךָ֣ בְעוֹל֑וֹת אֲשַׁלֵּ֖ם לְךָ֣ נְדָרָֽי׃Ps 66:13
I will come into your temple with burnt offerings.
I will pay my vows to you,
Ps 65:13Ps 65:13εἰσελεύσομαι εἰς τὸν οἶκόν σου ἐν ὁλοκαυτώμασιν ἀποδώσω σοι τὰς εὐχάς μουPs 66:13
I will go into thine house with whole-burnt-offerings; I will pay thee my vows,
Ps 66:13
I will come into your temple with burnt offerings.
I will pay my vows to you,
14Ps 66:1414אֲשֶׁר־פָּצ֥וּ שְׂפָתָ֑י וְדִבֶּר־פִּ֝֗י בַּצַּר־לִֽי׃Ps 66:14
which my lips promised,
and my mouth spoke, when I was in distress.
Ps 65:14Ps 65:14ἃς διέστειλεν τὰ χείλη μου καὶ ἐλάλησεν τὸ στόμα μου ἐν τῇ θλίψει μουPs 66:14
which my lips framed, and my mouth uttered in my affliction.
Ps 66:14
which my lips promised,
and my mouth spoke, when I was in distress.
15Ps 66:1515עֹ֘ל֤וֹת מֵחִ֣ים אַעֲלֶה־לָּ֭ךְ עִם־קְטֹ֣רֶת אֵילִ֑ים אֶ֥עֱשֶֽׂה בָקָ֖ר עִם־עַתּוּדִ֣ים סֶֽלָה׃Ps 66:15
I will offer to you burnt offerings of fat animals,
with the offering of rams,
I will offer bulls with goats.
Selah.
Ps 65:15Ps 65:15ὁλοκαυτώματα μεμυαλωμένα ἀνοίσω σοι μετὰ θυμιάματος καὶ κριῶν ποιήσω σοι βόας μετὰ χιμάρων διάψαλμαPs 66:15
I will offer to thee whole-burnt-sacrifices full of marrow, with incense and rams; I will sacrifice to thee oxen with goats. Pause.
Ps 66:15
I will offer to you burnt offerings of fat animals,
with the offering of rams,
I will offer bulls with goats.

16Ps 66:1616לְכֽוּ־שִׁמְע֣וּ וַ֭אֲסַפְּרָה כָּל־יִרְאֵ֣י אֱלֹהִ֑ים אֲשֶׁ֖ר עָשָׂ֣ה לְנַפְשִֽׁי׃Ps 66:16
Come, and hear, all you who fear God.
I will declare what he has done for my soul.
Ps 65:16Ps 65:16δεῦτε ἀκούσατε καὶ διηγήσομαι πάντες οἱ φοβούμενοι τὸν θεόν ὅσα ἐποίησεν τῇ ψυχῇ μουPs 66:16
Come, hear, and I will tell, all ye that fear God, how great things he has done for my soul.
Ps 66:16
Come, and hear, all you who fear God.
I will declare what he has done for my soul.
17Ps 66:1717אֵלָ֥יו פִּֽי־קָרָ֑אתִי וְ֝רוֹמַ֗ם תַּ֣חַת לְשׁוֹנִֽי׃Ps 66:17
I cried to him with my mouth.
He was extolled with my tongue.
Ps 65:17Ps 65:17πρὸς αὐτὸν τῷ στόματί μου ἐκέκραξα καὶ ὕψωσα ὑπὸ τὴν γλῶσσάν μουPs 66:17
I cried to him with my mouth, and exalted him with my tongue.
Ps 66:17
I cried to him with my mouth.
He was extolled with my tongue.
18Ps 66:1818אָ֭וֶן אִם־רָאִ֣יתִי בְלִבִּ֑י לֹ֖א יִשְׁמַ֣ע ׀ אֲדֹנָֽי׃Ps 66:18
If I cherished sin in my heart,
the Lord wouldn’t have listened.
Ps 65:18Ps 65:18ἀδικίαν εἰ ἐθεώρουν ἐν καρδίᾳ μου μὴ εἰσακουσάτω κύριοςPs 66:18
If I have regarded iniquity in my heart, let not the Lord hearken to me.
Ps 66:18
If I cherished sin in my heart,
the Lord wouldn’t have listened.
19Ps 66:1919אָ֭כֵן שָׁמַ֣ע אֱלֹהִ֑ים הִ֝קְשִׁ֗יב בְּק֣וֹל תְּפִלָּתִֽי׃Ps 66:19
But most certainly, God has listened.
He has heard the voice of my prayer.
Ps 65:19Ps 65:19διὰ τοῦτο εἰσήκουσέν μου ὁ θεός προσέσχεν τῇ φωνῇ τῆς δεήσεώς μουPs 66:19
Therefore God has hearkened to me; he has attended to the voice of my prayer.
Ps 66:19
But most certainly, God has listened.
He has heard the voice of my prayer.
20Ps 66:2020בָּר֥וּךְ אֱלֹהִ֑ים אֲשֶׁ֥ר לֹֽא־הֵסִ֘יר תְּפִלָּתִ֥י וְ֝חַסְדּ֗וֹ מֵאִתִּֽי׃Ps 66:20
Blessed be God, who has not turned away my prayer,
nor his loving kindness from me.
Ps 65:20Ps 65:20εὐλογητὸς ὁ θεός ὃς οὐκ ἀπέστησεν τὴν προσευχήν μου καὶ τὸ ἔλεος αὐτοῦ ἀπ’ ἐμοῦPs 66:20
Blessed be God, who has not turned away my prayer, nor his mercy from me.
