εἰς τὸ τέλος ψαλμὸς τῷ Δαυιδ
Ps 64:1
For the end, a Psalm of David. Hear my prayer, O God, when I make my petition to thee; deliver my soul from fear of the enemy.

2Ps 64:12שְׁמַע־אֱלֹהִ֣ים קוֹלִ֣י בְשִׂיחִ֑י מִפַּ֥חַד א֝וֹיֵ֗ב תִּצֹּ֥ר חַיָּֽי׃Ps 64:1
Hear my voice, God, in my complaint.
Preserve my life from fear of the enemy.
Ps 63:2Ps 63:2εἰσάκουσον ὁ θεός τῆς φωνῆς μου ἐν τῷ δέεσθαί με ἀπὸ φόβου ἐχθροῦ ἐξελοῦ τὴν ψυχήν μου2
Ps 64:1
Hear my voice, God, in my complaint.
Preserve my life from fear of the enemy.
3Ps 64:23תַּ֭סְתִּירֵנִי מִסּ֣וֹד מְרֵעִ֑ים מֵ֝רִגְשַׁ֗ת פֹּ֣עֲלֵי אָֽוֶן׃Ps 64:2
Hide me from the conspiracy of the wicked,
from the noisy crowd of the ones doing evil;
Ps 63:3Ps 63:3ἐσκέπασάς με ἀπὸ συστροφῆς πονηρευομένων ἀπὸ πλήθους ἐργαζομένων τὴν ἀνομίανPs 64:2
Thou hast sheltered me from the conspiracy of them that do wickedly; from the multitude of them that work iniquity;
Ps 64:2
Hide me from the conspiracy of the wicked,
from the noisy crowd of the ones doing evil;
4Ps 64:34אֲשֶׁ֤ר שָׁנְנ֣וּ כַחֶ֣רֶב לְשׁוֹנָ֑ם דָּרְכ֥וּ חִ֝צָּ֗ם דָּבָ֥ר מָֽר׃Ps 64:3
who sharpen their tongue like a sword,
and aim their arrows, deadly words,
Ps 63:4Ps 63:4οἵτινες ἠκόνησαν ὡς ῥομφαίαν τὰς γλώσσας αὐτῶν ἐνέτειναν τόξον αὐτῶν πρᾶγμα πικρὸνPs 64:3
who have sharpened their tongues as a sword; they have bent their bow maliciously;
Ps 64:3
who sharpen their tongue like a sword,
and aim their arrows, deadly words,
5Ps 64:45לִיר֣וֹת בַּמִּסְתָּרִ֣ים תָּ֑ם פִּתְאֹ֥ם יֹ֝רֻ֗הוּ וְלֹ֣א יִירָֽאוּ׃Ps 64:4
to shoot innocent men from ambushes.
They shoot at him suddenly and fearlessly.
Ps 63:5Ps 63:5τοῦ κατατοξεῦσαι ἐν ἀποκρύφοις ἄμωμον ἐξάπινα κατατοξεύσουσιν αὐτὸν καὶ οὐ φοβηθήσονταιPs 64:4
to shoot in secret at the blameless; they will shoot him suddenly, and will not fear.
Ps 64:4
to shoot innocent men from ambushes.
They shoot at him suddenly and fearlessly.
6Ps 64:56יְחַזְּקוּ־לָ֨מוֹ ׀ דָּ֘בָ֤ר רָ֗ע יְֽ֭סַפְּרוּ לִטְמ֣וֹן מוֹקְשִׁ֑ים אָ֝מְר֗וּ מִ֣י יִרְאֶה־לָּֽמוֹ׃Ps 64:5
They encourage themselves in evil plans.
They talk about laying snares secretly.
They say, “Who will see them?”
Ps 63:6Ps 63:6ἐκραταίωσαν ἑαυτοῖς λόγον πονηρόν διηγήσαντο τοῦ κρύψαι παγίδας εἶπαν τίς ὄψεται αὐτούςPs 64:5
They have set up for themselves an evil matter, they have given counsel to hide snares; they have said, Who shall see them?
Ps 64:5
They encourage themselves in evil plans.
They talk about laying snares secretly.
They say, “Who will see them?”They strengthen themselves in evil word, they exposited in order to hide snares saying "who can see?"

7Ps 64:67יַֽחְפְּֽשׂוּ־עוֹלֹ֗ת תַּ֭מְנוּ חֵ֣פֶשׂ מְחֻפָּ֑שׂ וְקֶ֥רֶב אִ֝֗ישׁ וְלֵ֣ב עָמֹֽק׃Ps 64:6
They plot injustice, saying, “We have made a perfect plan!”
Surely man’s mind and heart are cunning.
Ps 63:7Ps 63:7ἐξηρεύνησαν ἀνομίας ἐξέλιπον ἐξερευνῶντες ἐξερευνήσει προσελεύσεται ἄνθρωπος καὶ καρδία βαθεῖαPs 64:6
They have searched out iniquity; they have wearied themselves with searching diligently, a man shall approach and the heart is deep,
Ps 64:6
They plot injustice, saying, “We have made a perfect plan!”
Surely man’s mind and heart are cunning.They diligently sought out lawlessness, while searching they failed. A man will search diligently and approach (proselyte), the heart is deep

8Ps 64:78וַיֹּרֵ֗ם אֱלֹ֫הִ֥ים חֵ֥ץ פִּתְא֑וֹם הָ֝י֗וּ מַכּוֹתָֽם׃Ps 64:7
But God will shoot at them.
They will be suddenly struck down with an arrow.
Ps 63:8Ps 63:8καὶ ὑψωθήσεται ὁ θεός βέλος νηπίων ἐγενήθησαν αἱ πληγαὶ αὐτῶνPs 64:7
and God shall be exalted, their wounds were caused by the weapon of the foolish children,
Ps 64:7
But God will shoot at them.

9Ps 64:89וַיַּכְשִׁיל֣וּהוּ עָלֵ֣ימוֹ לְשׁוֹנָ֑ם יִ֝תְנֹדֲד֗וּ כָּל־רֹ֥אֵה בָֽם׃Ps 64:8
Their own tongues shall ruin them.

All mankind shall be afraid.
They shall declare the work of God,
and shall wisely ponder what he has done.
Ps 63:10Ps 63:10καὶ ἐφοβήθη πᾶς ἄνθρωπος καὶ ἀνήγγειλαν τὰ ἔργα τοῦ θεοῦ καὶ τὰ ποιήματα αὐτοῦ συνῆκανPs 64:9
and every man was alarmed, and they related the works of God, and understood his deeds.
Ps 64:9
All mankind shall be afraid.
They shall declare the work of God,
and shall wisely ponder what he has done.
11Ps 64:1011יִשְׂמַ֬ח צַדִּ֣יק בַּ֭יהוָה וְחָ֣סָה ב֑וֹ וְ֝יִתְהַֽלְל֗וּ כָּל־יִשְׁרֵי־לֵֽב׃Ps 64:10
The righteous shall be glad in Yahweh,
and shall take refuge in him.
All the upright in heart shall praise him!
Ps 63:11Ps 63:11εὐφρανθήσεται δίκαιος ἐπὶ τῷ κυρίῳ καὶ ἐλπιεῖ ἐπ’ αὐτόν καὶ ἐπαινεσθήσονται πάντες οἱ εὐθεῖς τῇ καρδίᾳPs 64:10
The righteous shall rejoice in the Lord, and hope on him, and all the upright in heart shall be praised.
Ps 64:10
The righteous shall be glad in YahwehThe Lord,
and shall take refuge in himhope upon Him,.
and aAll the upright in heart shall praise him!
