εἰς τὸ τέλος ψαλμὸς ᾠδῆς τοῦ ἐγκαινισμοῦ τοῦ οἴκου τῷ Δαυιδ
Ps 30:1
For the end, a Psalm and Song at the dedication of the house of David. I will exalt thee, O Lord; for thou hast lifted me up, and not caused mine enemies to rejoice over me.

2Ps 30:12אֲרוֹמִמְךָ֣ יְ֭הוָה כִּ֣י דִלִּיתָ֑נִי וְלֹא־שִׂמַּ֖חְתָּ אֹיְבַ֣י לִֽי׃Ps 30:1
I will extol you, Yahweh, for you have raised me up,
and have not made my foes to rejoice over me.
Ps 29:2Ps 29:2ὑψώσω σε κύριε ὅτι ὑπέλαβές με καὶ οὐκ ηὔφρανας τοὺς ἐχθρούς μου ἐπ’ ἐμέ2
Ps 30:1
I will extol you, Yahweh, for you have raised me up,
and have not made my foes to rejoice over me.
3Ps 30:23יְהוָ֥ה אֱלֹהָ֑י שִׁוַּ֥עְתִּי אֵ֝לֶ֗יךָ וַתִּרְפָּאֵֽנִי׃Ps 30:2
Yahweh my God, I cried to you,
and you have healed me.
Ps 29:3Ps 29:3κύριε ὁ θεός μου ἐκέκραξα πρὸς σέ καὶ ἰάσω μεPs 30:2
O Lord my God, I cried to thee, and thou didst heal me.
Ps 30:2
Yahweh my God, I cried to you,
and you have healed me.
4Ps 30:34יְֽהוָ֗ה הֶֽעֱלִ֣יתָ מִן־שְׁא֣וֹל נַפְשִׁ֑י חִ֝יִּיתַ֗נִי ‏{ מיורדי־ מִיָּֽרְדִי־ }‏ בֽוֹר׃

Ps 30:3
Yahweh, you have brought up my soul from Sheol.
You have kept me alive, that I should not go down to the pit.
Ps 29:4Ps 29:4κύριε ἀνήγαγες ἐξ ᾅδου τὴν ψυχήν μου ἔσωσάς με ἀπὸ τῶν καταβαινόντων εἰς λάκκονPs 30:3
O Lord, thou hast brought up my soul from Hades, thou hast delivered me from among them that go down to the pit.
Ps 30:3
Yahweh, you have brought up my soul from Sheol.
You have kept me alive, that I should not go down to the pit.
5Ps 30:45זַמְּר֣וּ לַיהוָ֣ה חֲסִידָ֑יו וְ֝הוֹד֗וּ לְזֵ֣כֶר קָדְשֽׁוֹ׃Ps 30:4
Sing praise to Yahweh, you saints of his.
Give thanks to his holy name.
Ps 29:5Ps 29:5ψάλατε τῷ κυρίῳ οἱ ὅσιοι αὐτοῦ καὶ ἐξομολογεῖσθε τῇ μνήμῃ τῆς ἁγιωσύνης αὐτοῦPs 30:4
Sing to the Lord, ye his saints, and give thanks for the remembrance of his holiness.
Ps 30:4
Sing praise to Yahweh, you saints of his.
Give thanks to his holy name.
6Ps 30:56כִּ֤י רֶ֨גַע ׀ בְּאַפּוֹ֮ חַיִּ֪ים בִּרְצ֫וֹנ֥וֹ בָּ֭עֶרֶב יָלִ֥ין בֶּ֗כִי וְלַבֹּ֥קֶר רִנָּֽה׃Ps 30:5
For his anger is but for a moment.
His favor is for a lifetime.
Weeping may stay for the night,
but joy comes in the morning.
Ps 29:6Ps 29:6ὅτι ὀργὴ ἐν τῷ θυμῷ αὐτοῦ καὶ ζωὴ ἐν τῷ θελήματι αὐτοῦ τὸ ἑσπέρας αὐλισθήσεται κλαυθμὸς καὶ εἰς τὸ πρωὶ ἀγαλλίασιςPs 30:5
For anger is in his wrath, but life in his favour: weeping shall tarry for the evening, but joy shall be in the morning.
Ps 30:5
For his anger is but for a moment.
His favor is for a lifetime.
Weeping may stay for the night,

7Ps 30:67וַ֭אֲנִי אָמַ֣רְתִּי בְשַׁלְוִ֑י בַּל־אֶמּ֥וֹט לְעוֹלָֽם׃Ps 30:6
As for me, I said in my prosperity,
“I shall never be moved.”
Ps 29:7Ps 29:7ἐγὼ δὲ εἶπα ἐν τῇ εὐθηνίᾳ μου οὐ μὴ σαλευθῶ εἰς τὸν αἰῶναPs 30:6
And I said in my prosperity, I shall never be moved.
Ps 30:6
As for me, I said in my prosperity,
“I shall never be moved.”
8Ps 30:78יְֽהוָ֗ה בִּרְצוֹנְךָ֮ הֶעֱמַ֪דְתָּה לְֽהַרְרִ֫י עֹ֥ז הִסְתַּ֥רְתָּ פָנֶ֗יךָ הָיִ֥יתִי נִבְהָֽל׃Ps 30:7
You, Yahweh, when you favored me, made my mountain stand strong;
but when you hid your face, I was troubled.
Ps 29:8Ps 29:8κύριε ἐν τῷ θελήματί σου παρέσχου τῷ κάλλει μου δύναμιν ἀπέστρεψας δὲ τὸ πρόσωπόν σου καὶ ἐγενήθην τεταραγμένοςPs 30:7
O Lord, in thy good pleasure thou didst add strength to my beauty: but thou didst turn away thy face, and I was troubled.
Ps 30:7
You, Yahweh, when you favored me, made my mountain stand strong;
but when you hid your face, I was troubled.
9Ps 30:89אֵלֶ֣יךָ יְהוָ֣ה אֶקְרָ֑א וְאֶל־אֲ֝דֹנָ֗י אֶתְחַנָּֽן׃Ps 30:8
I cried to you, Yahweh.
To Yahweh I made supplication:
Ps 29:9Ps 29:9πρὸς σέ κύριε κεκράξομαι καὶ πρὸς τὸν θεόν μου δεηθήσομαιPs 30:8
To thee, O Lord, will I cry; and to my God will I make supplication.
Ps 30:8
I cried to you, Yahweh.
To Yahweh I made supplication:
10Ps 30:910מַה־בֶּ֥צַע בְּדָמִי֮ בְּרִדְתִּ֪י אֶ֫ל־שָׁ֥חַת הֲיוֹדְךָ֥ עָפָ֑ר הֲיַגִּ֥יד אֲמִתֶּֽךָ׃Ps 30:9
“What profit is there in my destruction, if I go down to the pit?
Shall the dust praise you?
Shall it declare your truth?
Ps 29:10Ps 29:10τίς ὠφέλεια ἐν τῷ αἵματί μου ἐν τῷ καταβῆναί με εἰς διαφθοράν μὴ ἐξομολογήσεταί σοι χοῦς ἢ ἀναγγελεῖ τὴν ἀλήθειάν σουPs 30:9
What profit is there in my blood, when I go down to destruction? Shall the dust give praise to thee? or shall it declare thy truth?
Ps 30:9
“What profit is there in my destruction, if I go down to the pit?
Shall the dust praise you?
Shall it declare your truth?
11Ps 30:1011שְׁמַע־יְהוָ֥ה וְחָנֵּ֑נִי יְ֝הוָה הֱ‍ֽיֵה־עֹזֵ֥ר לִֽי׃Ps 30:10
Hear, Yahweh, and have mercy on me.
Yahweh, be my helper.”
Ps 29:11Ps 29:11ἤκουσεν κύριος καὶ ἠλέησέν με κύριος ἐγενήθη βοηθός μουPs 30:10
The Lord heard, and had compassion upon me; the Lord is become my helper.
Ps 30:10
Hear, Yahweh, and have mercy on me.
Yahweh, be my helper.”
12Ps 30:1112הָפַ֣כְתָּ מִסְפְּדִי֮ לְמָח֪וֹל לִ֥י פִּתַּ֥חְתָּ שַׂקִּ֑י וַֽתְּאַזְּרֵ֥נִי שִׂמְחָֽה׃Ps 30:11
You have turned my mourning into dancing for me.
You have removed my sackcloth, and clothed me with gladness,
Ps 29:12Ps 29:12ἔστρεψας τὸν κοπετόν μου εἰς χορὸν ἐμοί διέρρηξας τὸν σάκκον μου καὶ περιέζωσάς με εὐφροσύνηνPs 30:11
Thou hast turned my mourning into joy for me: thou hast rent off my sackcloth, and girded me with gladness;
Ps 30:11
You have turned my mourning into dancing for me.
You have removed my sackcloth, and clothed me with gladness,
13Ps 30:1213לְמַ֤עַן ׀ יְזַמֶּרְךָ֣ כָ֭בוֹד וְלֹ֣א יִדֹּ֑ם יְהוָ֥ה אֱ֝לֹהַ֗י לְעוֹלָ֥ם אוֹדֶֽךָּ׃Ps 30:12
To the end that my heart may sing praise to you, and not be silent.
Yahweh my God, I will give thanks to you forever!
Ps 29:13Ps 29:13ὅπως ἂν ψάλῃ σοι ἡ δόξα μου καὶ οὐ μὴ κατανυγῶ κύριε ὁ θεός μου εἰς τὸν αἰῶνα ἐξομολογήσομαί σοιPs 30:12
that my glory may sing praise to thee, and I may not be pierced with sorrow. O Lord my God, I will give thanks to thee for ever.
Ps 30:12
To the end that my heart may sing praise to you, and not be silent.
Yahweh my God, I will give thanks to you forever!
