The Jewish Encyclopedia: The daily psalms are named in the order in which they were recited: on Sunday, xxiv.; Monday, xlviii.; Tuesday, lxxxii.; Wednesday, xciv.; Thursday, lxxxi.; Friday, xciii.; and Sabbath, xcii. ———
a Gk. ζητούντων. This may be either a genitive plural participle (This is the generation of the ones seeking him, of the ones seeking the face of the God of Jacob) or a Classical Greek imperative. The Classical 3rd person plural imperative ending is -οντων (see Smyth 385; 466. 3.), whereas in Koine it would be -ετωσαν (ζητειτωσαν). A collective singular (in this case, ἡ γενεὰ) may be used with a plural verb (Smyth, 950).
b Gk. διάψαλμα. LSJ: musical interlude, used by the LXX, in the Psalms, for the Hebr. Selah.
