Ps 13:1
For the end, a Psalm of David. How long, O Lord, wilt thou forget me? for ever? how long wilt thou turn away thy face from me?

2Ps 13:12עַד־אָ֣נָה יְ֭הוָה תִּשְׁכָּחֵ֣נִי נֶ֑צַח עַד־אָ֓נָה ׀ תַּסְתִּ֖יר אֶת־פָּנֶ֣יךָ מִמֶּֽנִּי׃Ps 13:1
How long, Yahweh?
Will you forget me forever?
How long will you hide your face from me?
Ps 12:2Ps 12:2ἕως πότε κύριε ἐπιλήσῃ μου εἰς τέλος ἕως πότε ἀποστρέψεις τὸ πρόσωπόν σου ἀπ’ ἐμοῦ2

3Ps 13:23עַד־אָ֨נָה אָשִׁ֪ית עֵצ֡וֹת בְּנַפְשִׁ֗י יָג֣וֹן בִּלְבָבִ֣י יוֹמָ֑ם עַד־אָ֓נָה ׀ יָר֖וּם אֹיְבִ֣י עָלָֽי׃Ps 13:2
How long shall I take counsel in my soul,
having sorrow in my heart every day?
How long shall my enemy triumph over me?
Ps 12:3Ps 12:3ἕως τίνος θήσομαι βουλὰς ἐν ψυχῇ μου ὀδύνας ἐν καρδίᾳ μου ἡμέρας ἕως πότε ὑψωθήσεται ὁ ἐχθρός μου ἐπ’ ἐμέPs 13:2
How long shall I take counsel in my soul, having sorrows in my heart daily? how long shall my enemy be exalted over me?

4Ps 13:34הַבִּ֣יטָֽה עֲ֭נֵנִי יְהוָ֣ה אֱלֹהָ֑י הָאִ֥ירָה עֵ֝ינַ֗י פֶּן־אִישַׁ֥ן הַמָּֽוֶת׃Ps 13:3
Behold, and answer me, Yahweh, my God.
Give light to my eyes, lest I sleep in death;
Ps 12:4Ps 12:4ἐπίβλεψον εἰσάκουσόν μου κύριε ὁ θεός μου φώτισον τοὺς ὀφθαλμούς μου μήποτε ὑπνώσω εἰς θάνατονPs 13:3
Look on me, hearken to me, O Lord my God: lighten mine eyes, lest I sleep in death;

Behold, and answer me, Yahweh, my God.
Give light to my eyes, lest I sleep in death;
5Ps 13:45פֶּן־יֹאמַ֣ר אֹיְבִ֣י יְכָלְתִּ֑יו צָרַ֥י יָ֝גִ֗ילוּ כִּ֣י אֶמּֽוֹט׃Ps 13:4
Lest my enemy say, “I have prevailed against him;”
Lest my adversaries rejoice when I fall.
Ps 12:5Ps 12:5μήποτε εἴπῃ ὁ ἐχθρός μου ἴσχυσα πρὸς αὐτόν οἱ θλίβοντές με ἀγαλλιάσονται ἐὰν σαλευθῶPs 13:4
lest at any time mine enemy say, I have prevailed against him: my persecutors will exult if ever I should be moved.
Ps 13:4
Lest my enemy say, “I have prevailed against him;”
Lest my adversaries rejoice when I fall.
6Ps 13:5-66וַאֲנִ֤י ׀ בְּחַסְדְּךָ֣ בָטַחְתִּי֮ יָ֤גֵ֥ל לִבִּ֗י בִּֽישׁוּעָ֫תֶ֥ךָ אָשִׁ֥ירָה לַיהוָ֑ה כִּ֖י גָמַ֣ל עָלָֽי׃Ps 13:5-6

But I trust in your loving kindness.
My heart rejoices in your salvation.
(6)
I will sing to Yahweh,
because he has been good to me.
Ps 12:6Ps 12:6ἐγὼ δὲ ἐπὶ τῷ ἐλέει σου ἤλπισα ἀγαλλιάσεται ἡ καρδία μου ἐπὶ τῷ σωτηρίῳ σου ᾄσω τῷ κυρίῳ τῷ εὐεργετήσαντί με καὶ ψαλῶ τῷ ὀνόματι κυρίου τοῦ ὑψίστουPs 13:5-6
(5) But I have hoped in thy mercy; my heart shall exult in thy salvation. (6) I will sing to the Lord who has dealt bountifully with me, and I will sing psalms to the name of the Lord most high.
