Ps 102:1
A Prayer for the Poor; when he is deeply afflicted, and pours out his supplication before the Lord. Hear my prayer, O Lord, and let my cry come to thee.

2Ps 102:12יְ֭הוָה שִׁמְעָ֣ה תְפִלָּתִ֑י וְ֝שַׁוְעָתִ֗י אֵלֶ֥יךָ תָבֽוֹא׃Ps 102:1
Hear my prayer, Yahweh!
Let my cry come to you.
Ps 101:2Ps 101:2εἰσάκουσον κύριε τῆς προσευχῆς μου καὶ ἡ κραυγή μου πρὸς σὲ ἐλθάτω2

3Ps 102:23אַל־תַּסְתֵּ֬ר פָּנֶ֨יךָ ׀ מִמֶּנִּי֮ בְּי֪וֹם צַ֫ר לִ֥י הַטֵּֽה־אֵלַ֥י אָזְנֶ֑ךָ בְּי֥וֹם אֶ֝קְרָ֗א מַהֵ֥ר עֲנֵֽנִי׃Ps 102:2
Don’t hide your face from me in the day of my distress.
Turn your ear to me.
Answer me quickly in the day when I call.
Ps 101:3Ps 101:3μὴ ἀποστρέψῃς τὸ πρόσωπόν σου ἀπ’ ἐμοῦ ἐν ᾗ ἂν ἡμέρᾳ θλίβωμαι κλῖνον τὸ οὖς σου πρός με ἐν ᾗ ἂν ἡμέρᾳ ἐπικαλέσωμαί σε ταχὺ εἰσάκουσόν μουPs 102:2
Turn not away thy face from me: in the day when I am afflicted, incline thine ear to me: in the day when I shall call upon thee, speedily hear me.
Ps 102:2
Don’t hide your face from me in the day of my distress.

4Ps 102:34כִּֽי־כָל֣וּ בְעָשָׁ֣ן יָמָ֑י וְ֝עַצְמוֹתַ֗י כְּמוֹ־קֵ֥ד נִחָֽרוּ׃Ps 102:3
For my days consume away like smoke.
My bones are burned as a torch.
Ps 101:4Ps 101:4ὅτι ἐξέλιπον ὡσεὶ καπνὸς αἱ ἡμέραι μου καὶ τὰ ὀστᾶ μου ὡσεὶ φρύγιον συνεφρύγησανPs 102:3
For my days have vanished like smoke, and my bones have been parched like a stick.
Ps 102:3
For my days consume away like smoke.

5Ps 102:45הוּכָּֽה־כָ֭עֵשֶׂב וַיִּבַ֣שׁ לִבִּ֑י כִּֽי־שָׁ֝כַ֗חְתִּי מֵאֲכֹ֥ל לַחְמִֽי׃Ps 102:4
My heart is blighted like grass, and withered,
for I forget to eat my bread.
Ps 101:5Ps 101:5ἐπλήγη ὡσεὶ χόρτος καὶ ἐξηράνθη ἡ καρδία μου ὅτι ἐπελαθόμην τοῦ φαγεῖν τὸν ἄρτον μουPs 102:4
I am blighted like grass, and my heart is dried up; for I have forgotten to eat my bread.

6Ps 102:56מִקּ֥וֹל אַנְחָתִ֑י דָּבְקָ֥ה עַ֝צְמִ֗י לִבְשָׂרִֽי׃Ps 102:5
By reason of the voice of my groaning,
my bones stick to my skin.
Ps 101:6Ps 101:6ἀπὸ φωνῆς τοῦ στεναγμοῦ μου ἐκολλήθη τὸ ὀστοῦν μου τῇ σαρκί μουPs 102:5
By reason of the voice of my groaning, my bone has cleaved to my flesh.

7Ps 102:67דָּ֭מִיתִי לִקְאַ֣ת מִדְבָּ֑ר הָ֝יִ֗יתִי כְּכ֣וֹס חֳרָבֽוֹת׃Ps 102:6
I am like a pelican of the wilderness.
I have become as an owl of the waste places.
Ps 101:7Ps 101:7ὡμοιώθην πελεκᾶνι ἐρημικῷ ἐγενήθην ὡσεὶ νυκτικόραξ ἐν οἰκοπέδῳPs 102:6
I have become like a pelican of the wilderness;

I am like a pelican of the wilderness.

8Ps 102:78שָׁקַ֥דְתִּי וָאֶֽהְיֶ֑ה כְּ֝צִפּ֗וֹר בּוֹדֵ֥ד עַל־גָּֽג׃Ps 102:7
I watch, and have become like a sparrow that is alone on the housetop.
Ps 101:8Ps 101:8ἠγρύπνησα καὶ ἐγενήθην ὡσεὶ στρουθίον μονάζον ἐπὶ δώματιPs 102:7
I have become like an owl in a ruined house. I have watched, and am become as a sparrow dwelling alone on a roof.
Ps 102:7
I watch, and have become like a sparrow that is alone on the housetop.
9Ps 102:89כָּל־הַ֭יּוֹם חֵרְפ֣וּנִי אוֹיְבָ֑י מְ֝הוֹלָלַ֗י בִּ֣י נִשְׁבָּֽעוּ׃Ps 102:8
My enemies reproach me all day.
Those who are mad at me use my name as a curse.
Ps 101:9Ps 101:9ὅλην τὴν ἡμέραν ὠνείδιζόν με οἱ ἐχθροί μου καὶ οἱ ἐπαινοῦντές με κατ’ ἐμοῦ ὤμνυονPs 102:8
All the day long mine enemies have reproached me; and they that praised me have sworn against me.
Ps 102:8
My enemies reproach me all day.

10Ps 102:910כִּי־אֵ֭פֶר כַּלֶּ֣חֶם אָכָ֑לְתִּי וְ֝שִׁקֻּוַ֗י בִּבְכִ֥י מָסָֽכְתִּי׃Ps 102:9

and mixed my drink with tears,

For I have eaten ashes as it were bread, and mingled my drink with weeping;

11Ps 102:1011מִפְּנֵֽי־זַֽעַמְךָ֥ וְקִצְפֶּ֑ךָ כִּ֥י נְ֝שָׂאתַ֗נִי וַתַּשְׁלִיכֵֽנִי׃Ps 102:10
Because of your indignation and your wrath,
for you have taken me up, and thrown me away.
Ps 101:11Ps 101:11ἀπὸ προσώπου τῆς ὀργῆς σου καὶ τοῦ θυμοῦ σου ὅτι ἐπάρας κατέρραξάς μεPs 102:10
because of thine anger and thy wrath: for thou hast lifted me up, and dashed me down.
Ps 102:10
Because of your indignation and your wrath,
for you have taken me up, and thrown me away.
12Ps 102:1112יָ֭מַי כְּצֵ֣ל נָט֑וּי וַ֝אֲנִ֗י כָּעֵ֥שֶׂב אִיבָֽשׁ׃Ps 102:11
My days are like a long shadow.
I have withered like grass.
Ps 101:12Ps 101:12αἱ ἡμέραι μου ὡσεὶ σκιὰ ἐκλίθησαν καὶ ἐγὼ ὡσεὶ χόρτος ἐξηράνθηνPs 102:11
My days have declined like a shadow; and I am withered like grass.
Ps 102:11
My days are like a long shadow.
I have withered like grass.
13Ps 102:1213וְאַתָּ֣ה יְ֭הוָה לְעוֹלָ֣ם תֵּשֵׁ֑ב וְ֝זִכְרְךָ֗ לְדֹ֣ר וָדֹֽר׃Ps 102:12
But you, Yahweh, will remain forever;
your renown endures to all generations.
Ps 101:13Ps 101:13σὺ δέ κύριε εἰς τὸν αἰῶνα μένεις καὶ τὸ μνημόσυνόν σου εἰς γενεὰν καὶ γενεάνPs 102:12
But thou, Lord, endurest for ever, and thy memorial to generation and generation.
Ps 102:12
But you, Yahweh, will remain forever;
your renown endures to all generations.But you Lord will remain forever and your memory unto generation and generation.ᵃ

You will arise and have mercy on Zion;
for it is time to have pity on her.
Yes, the set time has come.
Ps 101:14Ps 101:14σὺ ἀναστὰς οἰκτιρήσεις τὴν Σιων ὅτι καιρὸς τοῦ οἰκτιρῆσαι αὐτήν ὅτι ἥκει καιρόςPs 102:13
Thou shalt arise, and have mercy upon Sion: for it is time to have mercy upon her, for the set time is come.
Ps 102:13
You will arise and have mercy on Zion;
for it is time to have pity on her.
Yes, the set time has come.
15Ps 102:1415כִּֽי־רָצ֣וּ עֲ֭בָדֶיךָ אֶת־אֲבָנֶ֑יהָ וְֽאֶת־עֲפָרָ֥הּ יְחֹנֵֽנוּ׃Ps 102:14
For your servants take pleasure in her stones,
and have pity on her dust.
Ps 101:15Ps 101:15ὅτι εὐδόκησαν οἱ δοῦλοί σου τοὺς λίθους αὐτῆς καὶ τὸν χοῦν αὐτῆς οἰκτιρήσουσινPs 102:14
For thy servants have taken pleasure in her stones, and they shall pity her dust.
Ps 102:14
For your servants take pleasure in her stones,
and have pity on her dust.
16Ps 102:1516וְיִֽירְא֣וּ ג֭וֹיִם אֶת־שֵׁ֣ם יְהוָ֑ה וְֽכָל־מַלְכֵ֥י הָ֝אָ֗רֶץ אֶת־כְּבוֹדֶֽךָ׃Ps 102:15
So the nations will fear the name of Yahweh;
all the kings of the earth your glory.
Ps 101:16Ps 101:16καὶ φοβηθήσονται τὰ ἔθνη τὸ ὄνομα κυρίου καὶ πάντες οἱ βασιλεῖς τῆς γῆς τὴν δόξαν σουPs 102:15
So the nations shall fear thy name, O Lord, and all kings thy glory.
Ps 102:15
So the nations will fear the name of Yahweh;
all the kings of the earth your glory.
17Ps 102:1617כִּֽי־בָנָ֣ה יְהוָ֣ה צִיּ֑וֹן נִ֝רְאָ֗ה בִּכְבוֹדֽוֹ׃Ps 102:16
For Yahweh has built up Zion.
He has appeared in his glory.
Ps 101:17Ps 101:17ὅτι οἰκοδομήσει κύριος τὴν Σιων καὶ ὀφθήσεται ἐν τῇ δόξῃ αὐτοῦPs 102:16
For the Lord shall build up Sion, and shall appear in his glory.
Ps 102:16
For Yahweh has built up Zion.
He has appeared in his glory.
18Ps 102:1718פָּ֭נָה אֶל־תְּפִלַּ֣ת הָעַרְעָ֑ר וְלֹֽא־בָ֝זָ֗ה אֶת־תְּפִלָּתָֽם׃Ps 102:17
He has responded to the prayer of the destitute,
and has not despised their prayer.
Ps 101:18Ps 101:18ἐπέβλεψεν ἐπὶ τὴν προσευχὴν τῶν ταπεινῶν καὶ οὐκ ἐξουδένωσεν τὴν δέησιν αὐτῶνPs 102:17
He has had regard to the prayer of the lowly, and has not despised their petition.
Ps 102:17
He has responded to the prayer of the destitute,
and has not despised their prayer.
19Ps 102:1819תִּכָּ֣תֶב זֹ֭את לְד֣וֹר אַחֲר֑וֹן וְעַ֥ם נִ֝בְרָ֗א יְהַלֶּל־יָֽהּ׃Ps 102:18
This will be written for the generation to come.
A people which will be created will praise Yah.
Ps 101:19Ps 101:19γραφήτω αὕτη εἰς γενεὰν ἑτέραν καὶ λαὸς ὁ κτιζόμενος αἰνέσει τὸν κύριονPs 102:18
Let this be written for another generation; and the people that shall be created shall praise the Lord.
Ps 102:18
This will be written for the generation to come.
A people which will be created will praise Yah.
20Ps 102:1920כִּֽי־הִ֭שְׁקִיף מִמְּר֣וֹם קָדְשׁ֑וֹ יְ֝הוָ֗ה מִשָּׁמַ֤יִם ׀ אֶל־אֶ֬רֶץ הִבִּֽיט׃Ps 102:19
For he has looked down from the height of his sanctuary.
From heaven, Yahweh saw the earth;
Ps 101:20Ps 101:20ὅτι ἐξέκυψεν ἐξ ὕψους ἁγίου αὐτοῦ κύριος ἐξ οὐρανοῦ ἐπὶ τὴν γῆν ἐπέβλεψενPs 102:19
For he has looked out from the height of his sanctuary; the Lord looked upon the earth from heaven;

For he has looked down from the height of his sanctuary.
From heaven, Yahweh saw the earth;
21Ps 102:2021לִ֭שְׁמֹעַ אֶנְקַ֣ת אָסִ֑יר לְ֝פַתֵּ֗חַ בְּנֵ֣י תְמוּתָֽה׃Ps 102:20
to hear the groans of the prisoner;
to free those who are condemned to death;

when the peoples are gathered together,
the kingdoms, to serve Yahweh.

when the people are gathered together, and the kings, to serve the Lord.

Take me not away in the midst of my days: thy years are through all generations.

I said, “My God, don’t take me away in the midst of my days.
Your years are throughout all generations.
26Ps 102:2526לְ֭פָנִים הָאָ֣רֶץ יָסַ֑דְתָּ וּֽמַעֲשֵׂ֖ה יָדֶ֣יךָ שָׁמָֽיִם׃Ps 102:25
Of old, you laid the foundation of the earth.
The heavens are the work of your hands.
Ps 101:26Ps 101:26κατ’ ἀρχὰς σύ κύριε τὴν γῆν ἐθεμελίωσας καὶ ἔργα τῶν χειρῶν σού εἰσιν οἱ οὐρανοίPs 102:25
In the beginning thou, O Lord, didst lay the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the works of thine hands.
Ps 102:25
Of old, you laid the foundation of the earth.
The heavens are the work of your hands.According to the beginnings you Lord laid the foundation of the earth and the heavens are the works of your handsª

a see Gen 1:1 εν αρχη and John 1:1 εν αρχη. what makes this reference cool is that αρχας is plural here and has κατα which means it is referencing 2citations of the beginning (something can only begin 1x) and this is long before John had writen his gospel.

27Ps 102:2627הֵ֤מָּה ׀ יֹאבֵדוּ֮ וְאַתָּ֪ה תַ֫עֲמֹ֥ד וְ֭כֻלָּם כַּבֶּ֣גֶד יִבְל֑וּ כַּלְּב֖וּשׁ תַּחֲלִיפֵ֣ם וְֽיַחֲלֹֽפוּ׃Ps 102:26
They will perish, but you will endure.
Yes, all of them will wear out like a garment.
You will change them like a cloak, and they will be changed.

They shall perish, but thou remainest: and they all shall wax old as a garment; and as a vesture shalt thou fold them, and they shall be changed.
