2Prv 2:22לְהַקְשִׁ֣יב לַֽחָכְמָ֣ה אָזְנֶ֑ךָ תַּטֶּ֥ה לִ֝בְּךָ֗ לַתְּבוּנָֽה׃Prv 2:2
So as to turn your ear to wisdom,
and apply your heart to understanding;

thine ear shall hearken to wisdom; thou shalt also apply thine heart to understanding, and shalt apply it to the instruction of thy son.

So as to turn your ear to wisdom,
and apply your heart to understanding;your ear will be attentive to wisdom

3Prv 2:33כִּ֤י אִ֣ם לַבִּינָ֣ה תִקְרָ֑א לַ֝תְּבוּנָ֗ה תִּתֵּ֥ן קוֹלֶֽךָ׃Prv 2:3
Yes, if you call out for discernment,
and lift up your voice for understanding;
Prv 2:3Prv 2:3ἐὰν γὰρ τὴν σοφίαν ἐπικαλέσῃ καὶ τῇ συνέσει δῷς φωνήν σου τὴν δὲ αἴσθησιν ζητήσῃς μεγάλῃ τῇ φωνῇPrv 2:3
For it thou shalt call to wisdom, and utter thy voice for understanding;

Yes, if you call out for discernment,
and lift up your voice for understanding;for if you will call upon wisdom and give discernment your voice and moreover you should seek discretion by the great voice

4Prv 2:44אִם־תְּבַקְשֶׁ֥נָּה כַכָּ֑סֶף וְֽכַמַּטְמוֹנִ֥ים תַּחְפְּשֶֽׂנָּה׃Prv 2:4
If you seek her as silver,
and search for her as for hidden treasures:

and if thou shalt seek it as silver, and search diligently for it as for treasures;

5Prv 2:55אָ֗ז תָּ֭בִין יִרְאַ֣ת יְהוָ֑ה וְדַ֖עַת אֱלֹהִ֣ים תִּמְצָֽא׃Prv 2:5
then you will understand the fear of Yahweh,
and find the knowledge of God.

then shalt thou understand the fear of the Lord, and find the knowledge of God.
Prv 2:5
then you will understand the fear of Yahweh,
and find the knowledge of God.
6Prv 2:66כִּֽי־יְ֭הוָה יִתֵּ֣ן חָכְמָ֑ה מִ֝פִּ֗יו דַּ֣עַת וּתְבוּנָֽה׃Prv 2:6
For Yahweh gives wisdom.
Out of his mouth comes knowledge and understanding.
Prv 2:6Prv 2:6ὅτι κύριος δίδωσιν σοφίαν καὶ ἀπὸ προσώπου αὐτοῦ γνῶσις καὶ σύνεσιςPrv 2:6
For the Lord gives wisdom; and from his presence come knowledge and understanding,

For Yahweh gives wisdom.
Out of his mouth comes knowledge and understanding.

Prv 2:7
He lays up sound wisdom for the upright.
He is a shield to those who walk in integrity;
Prv 2:7Prv 2:7καὶ θησαυρίζει τοῖς κατορθοῦσι σωτηρίαν ὑπερασπιεῖ τὴν πορείαν αὐτῶνPrv 2:7
and he treasures up salvation for them that walk uprightly: he will protect their way;

Prv 2:8
that he may guard the paths of justice,
and preserve the way of his saints.
Prv 2:8Prv 2:8τοῦ φυλάξαι ὁδοὺς δικαιωμάτων καὶ ὁδὸν εὐλαβουμένων αὐτὸν διαφυλάξειPrv 2:8
that he may guard the righteous ways: and he will preserve the way of them that fear him.
Prv 2:8
that he may guard the paths of justice,
and preserve the way of his saints.
9Prv 2:99אָ֗ז תָּ֭בִין צֶ֣דֶק וּמִשְׁפָּ֑ט וּ֝מֵישָׁרִ֗ים כָּל־מַעְגַּל־טֽוֹב׃Prv 2:9
Then you will understand righteousness and justice,
equity and every good path.
Prv 2:9Prv 2:9τότε συνήσεις δικαιοσύνην καὶ κρίμα καὶ κατορθώσεις πάντας ἄξονας ἀγαθούςPrv 2:9
Then shalt thou understand righteousness, and judgment; and shalt direct all thy course aright.

Then you will understand righteousness and justice,
equity and every good path.
10Prv 2:1010כִּֽי־תָב֣וֹא חָכְמָ֣ה בְלִבֶּ֑ךָ וְ֝דַ֗עַת לְֽנַפְשְׁךָ֥ יִנְעָֽם׃Prv 2:10
For wisdom will enter into your heart.
Knowledge will be pleasant to your soul.
Prv 2:10Prv 2:10ἐὰν γὰρ ἔλθῃ ἡ σοφία εἰς σὴν διάνοιαν ἡ δὲ αἴσθησις τῇ σῇ ψυχῇ καλὴ εἶναι δόξῃPrv 2:10
For if wisdom shall come into thine understanding, and discernment shall seem pleasing to thy soul,
Prv 2:10
For wisdom will enter into your heart.
Knowledge will be pleasant to your soul.
11Prv 2:1111מְ֭זִמָּה תִּשְׁמֹ֥ר עָלֶ֗יךָ תְּבוּנָ֥ה תִנְצְרֶֽכָּה׃Prv 2:11
Discretion will watch over you.
Understanding will keep you,
Prv 2:11Prv 2:11βουλὴ καλὴ φυλάξει σε ἔννοια δὲ ὁσία τηρήσει σεPrv 2:11
good counsel shall guard thee, and holy understanding shall keep thee;

12Prv 2:1212לְ֭הַצִּ֣ילְךָ מִדֶּ֣רֶךְ רָ֑ע מֵ֝אִ֗ישׁ מְדַבֵּ֥ר תַּהְפֻּכֽוֹת׃Prv 2:12
to deliver you from the way of evil,
from the men who speak perverse things;
Prv 2:12Prv 2:12ἵνα ῥύσηταί σε ἀπὸ ὁδοῦ κακῆς καὶ ἀπὸ ἀνδρὸς λαλοῦντος μηδὲν πιστόνPrv 2:12
to deliver thee from the evil way, and from the man that speaks nothing faithfully.
Prv 2:12
to deliver you from the way of evil,
from the men who speak perverse things;
13Prv 2:1313הַ֭עֹ֣זְבִים אָרְח֣וֹת יֹ֑שֶׁר לָ֝לֶ֗כֶת בְּדַרְכֵי־חֹֽשֶׁךְ׃Prv 2:13
who forsake the paths of uprightness,
to walk in the ways of darkness;
Prv 2:13Prv 2:13ὦ οἱ ἐγκαταλείποντες ὁδοὺς εὐθείας τοῦ πορεύεσθαι ἐν ὁδοῖς σκότουςPrv 2:13
Alas for those who forsake right paths, to walk in ways of darkness;
Prv 2:13
who forsake the paths of uprightness,
to walk in the ways of darkness;
14Prv 2:1414הַ֭שְּׂמֵחִים לַעֲשׂ֥וֹת רָ֑ע יָ֝גִ֗ילוּ בְּֽתַהְפֻּכ֥וֹת רָֽע׃Prv 2:14
who rejoice to do evil,
and delight in the perverseness of evil;
Prv 2:14Prv 2:14οἱ εὐφραινόμενοι ἐπὶ κακοῖς καὶ χαίροντες ἐπὶ διαστροφῇ κακῇPrv 2:14
who rejoice in evils, and delight in wicked perverseness;
Prv 2:14
who rejoice to do evil,
and delight in the perverseness of evil;
15Prv 2:1515אֲשֶׁ֣ר אָרְחֹתֵיהֶ֣ם עִקְּשִׁ֑ים וּ֝נְלוֹזִ֗ים בְּמַעְגְּלוֹתָֽם׃Prv 2:15
who are crooked in their ways,
and wayward in their paths:
Prv 2:15Prv 2:15ὧν αἱ τρίβοι σκολιαὶ καὶ καμπύλαι αἱ τροχιαὶ αὐτῶνPrv 2:15
whose paths are crooked, and their courses winding;
Prv 2:15
who are crooked in their ways,
and wayward in their paths:
16Prv 2:1616לְ֭הַצִּ֣ילְךָ מֵאִשָּׁ֣ה זָרָ֑ה מִ֝נָּכְרִיָּ֗ה אֲמָרֶ֥יהָ הֶחֱלִֽיקָה׃Prv 2:16
To deliver you from the strange woman,
even from the foreigner who flatters with her words;
Prv 2:16Prv 2:16τοῦ μακράν σε ποιῆσαι ἀπὸ ὁδοῦ εὐθείας καὶ ἀλλότριον τῆς δικαίας γνώμηςPrv 2:16
to remove thee far from the straight way, and to estrange thee from a righteous purpose. My son, let not evil counsel overtake thee,
Prv 2:16
To deliver you from the strange woman,
even from the foreigner who flatters with her words;
17Prv 2:1717הַ֭עֹזֶבֶת אַלּ֣וּף נְעוּרֶ֑יהָ וְאֶת־בְּרִ֖ית אֱלֹהֶ֣יהָ שָׁכֵֽחָה׃Prv 2:17
who forsakes the friend of her youth,
and forgets the covenant of her God:
Prv 2:17Prv 2:17υἱέ μή σε καταλάβῃ κακὴ βουλὴ ἡ ἀπολείπουσα διδασκαλίαν νεότητος καὶ διαθήκην θείαν ἐπιλελησμένηPrv 2:17
of her who has forsaken the instruction of her youth, and forgotten the covenant of God.
Prv 2:17
who forsakes the friend of her youth,
and forgets the covenant of her God:
18Prv 2:1818כִּ֤י שָׁ֣חָה אֶל־מָ֣וֶת בֵּיתָ֑הּ וְאֶל־רְ֝פָאִ֗ים מַעְגְּלֹתֶֽיהָ׃Prv 2:18
for her house leads down to death,
her paths to the dead.
Prv 2:18Prv 2:18ἔθετο γὰρ παρὰ τῷ θανάτῳ τὸν οἶκον αὐτῆς καὶ παρὰ τῷ ᾅδῃ μετὰ τῶν γηγενῶν τοὺς ἄξονας αὐτῆςPrv 2:18
For she has fixed her house near death, and guided her wheels near Hades with the giants.
Prv 2:18
for her house leads down to death,
her paths to the dead.
19Prv 2:1919כָּל־בָּ֭אֶיהָ לֹ֣א יְשׁוּב֑וּן וְלֹֽא־יַ֝שִּׂ֗יגוּ אָרְח֥וֹת חַיִּֽים׃Prv 2:19
None who go to her return again,
neither do they attain to the paths of life:
Prv 2:19Prv 2:19πάντες οἱ πορευόμενοι ἐν αὐτῇ οὐκ ἀναστρέψουσιν οὐδὲ μὴ καταλάβωσιν τρίβους εὐθείας οὐ γὰρ καταλαμβάνονται ὑπὸ ἐνιαυτῶν ζωῆςPrv 2:19
None that go by her shall return, neither shall they take hold of right paths, for they are not apprehended of the years of life.
Prv 2:19
None who go to her return again,
neither do they attain to the paths of life:
20Prv 2:2020לְמַ֗עַן תֵּ֭לֵךְ בְּדֶ֣רֶךְ טוֹבִ֑ים וְאָרְח֖וֹת צַדִּיקִ֣ים תִּשְׁמֹֽר׃Prv 2:20
that you may walk in the way of good men,
and keep the paths of the righteous.
Prv 2:20Prv 2:20εἰ γὰρ ἐπορεύοντο τρίβους ἀγαθάς εὕροσαν ἂν τρίβους δικαιοσύνης λείουςPrv 2:20
For had they gone in good paths, they would have found the paths of righteousness easy.
Prv 2:20
that you may walk in the way of good men,
and keep the paths of the righteous.
21Prv 2:2121כִּֽי־יְשָׁרִ֥ים יִשְׁכְּנוּ־אָ֑רֶץ וּ֝תְמִימִ֗ים יִוָּ֥תְרוּ בָֽהּ׃Prv 2:21
For the upright will dwell in the land.
The perfect will remain in it.
Prv 2:21Prv 2:21χρηστοὶ ἔσονται οἰκήτορες γῆς ἄκακοι δὲ ὑπολειφθήσονται ἐν αὐτῇ ὅτι εὐθεῖς κατασκηνώσουσι γῆν καὶ ὅσιοι ὑπολειφθήσονται ἐν αὐτῇPrv 2:21
For the upright shall dwell in the earth, and the holy shall be left behind in it.
Prv 2:21
For the upright will dwell in the land.
The perfect will remain in it.
22Prv 2:2222וּ֭רְשָׁעִים מֵאֶ֣רֶץ יִכָּרֵ֑תוּ וּ֝בוֹגְדִ֗ים יִסְּח֥וּ מִמֶּֽנָּה׃ פ Prv 2:22
But the wicked will be cut off from the land.
The treacherous will be rooted out of it.
Prv 2:22Prv 2:22ὁδοὶ ἀσεβῶν ἐκ γῆς ὀλοῦνται οἱ δὲ παράνομοι ἐξωσθήσονται ἀπ’ αὐτῆςPrv 2:22
The paths of the ungodly shall perish out of the earth, and transgressors shall be driven away from it.
Prv 2:22
But the wicked will be cut off from the land.
The treacherous will be rooted out of it.
