¶In that day, this song will be sung in the land of Judah:
“We have a strong city.
God appoints salvation for walls and bulwarks.
Is 26:1Is 26:1τῇ ἡμέρᾳ ἐκείνῃ ᾄσονται τὸ ᾆσμα τοῦτο ἐπὶ γῆς Ιουδα λέγοντες ἰδοὺ πόλις ὀχυρά καὶ σωτήριον ἡμῶν θήσει τεῖχος καὶ περίτειχοςIs 26:1
In that day they shall sing this song in the land of Judea; Behold a strong city; and he shall make salvation its wall and bulwark.

2Is 26:22פִּתְח֖וּ שְׁעָרִ֑ים וְיָבֹ֥א גוֹי־צַדִּ֖יק שֹׁמֵ֥ר אֱמֻנִֽים׃Is 26:2
Open the gates, that the righteous nation may enter:
the one which keeps faith.
Is 26:2Is 26:2ἀνοίξατε πύλας εἰσελθάτω λαὸς φυλάσσων δικαιοσύνην καὶ φυλάσσων ἀλήθειανIs 26:2
Open ye the gates, let the nation enter that keeps righteousness, and keeps truth,

You will keep whoever’s mind is steadfast in perfect peace,
because he trusts in you.

Trust in Yahweh forever;
for in Yah, Yahweh, is an everlasting Rock.

6Is 26:66תִּרְמְסֶ֖נָּה רָ֑גֶל רַגְלֵ֥י עָנִ֖י פַּעֲמֵ֥י דַלִּֽים׃Is 26:6
The foot shall tread it down;
Even the feet of the poor,
and the steps of the needy.”

The way of the just is uprightness.
You who are upright make the path of the righteous level.

which our soul longs for: my spirit seeks thee very early in the morning, O God, for thy commandments are a light on the earth: learn righteousness, ye that dwell upon the earth.
Is 26:9With my soul have I desired you in the night. Yes, with my spirit within me will I seek you earnestly; for when your judgments are in the earth, the inhabitants of the world learn righteousness.to which our soul desires. In night my spirit eagerly seeks you Oh God because your ordinancesᵇ are light upon the earth.
Learn righteousness all you dwelling upon (according to) the earth.

O Lord, thine arm is exalted, yet they knew it not: but when they know they shall be ashamed: jealousy shall seize upon an untaught nation, and now fire shall devour the adversaries.

Yes, fire will consume your adversaries.Lord, the arm of you is elevated and they had not perceviedªᵇ, but upon knowingª they will be ashamed. Like as a woman with child, who draws near the time of her delivery, is in pain and cries out in her pangs; so we have been before you, Yahweh.

And as a woman in travail draws nigh to be delivered, and cries out in her pain; so have we been to thy beloved.
Is 26:17Like as a woman with child, who draws near the time of her delivery, is in pain and cries out in her pangs; so we have been before you, Yahweh.and like the one travailing approaches the time to give birth and in her agony she cried out, thus we became your beloved because of the fear of you, oh Lord.

We have conceived, O Lord, because of thy fear, and have been in pain, and have brought forth the breath of thy salvation, which we have wrought upon the earth: we shall not fall, but all that dwell upon the land shall fall.
Is 26:18We have been with child. We have been in pain. We gave birth, it seems, only to wind. a uses of ενοικεω see Romans 8:11, Col 3:26, 2Tim 1:14.. all contrast that which dwells IN YOU where here it refers to people who dwelling UPON the earth... like Jesus distinguishes "that which is flesh is flesh and that which is BORN of spirit is spirit" (John 3:6)

The dead shall rise, and they that are in the tombs shall be raised, and they that are in the earth shall rejoice: for the dew from thee is healing to them: but the land of the ungodly shall perish.
Is 26:19Your dead shall live. My dead bodies shall arise. Awake and sing, you who dwell in the dust; for your dew is like the dew of herbs, and the earth will cast forth the dead.The dead will be resurrected and the ones in the tombs will stand and the ones in the ground will rejoice for the dew that comes from you is healing to them but the ungodly will fail.

a see Matt 22:29 no wonder they did not believe in the resurrection!! They did not know the Scriptures which is why this tytranslation of Isaiah is FAR off the Scriptures used by the early church!

For, behold, Yahweh comes forth out of his place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity. The earth also will disclose her blood, and will no longer cover her slain.

For, behold, the Lord is bringing wrath from his holy place upon the dwellers on the earth: the earth also shall disclose her blood, and shall not cover her slain.
Is 26:21For, behold, Yahweh comes forth out of his place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity. The earth also will disclose her blood, and will no longer cover her slain.For behold The Lord from His Holy place is bringing wrath upon the people dwelling (according to) upon the earth and the earth will reveal her blood and will not cover up the ones put to death.
