¶Then he cried in my ears with a loud voice, saying, Cause those who are in charge of the city to draw near, every man with his destroying weapon in his hand.
Ez 9:1Ez 9:1καὶ ἀνέκραγεν εἰς τὰ ὦτά μου φωνῇ μεγάλῃ λέγων ἤγγικεν ἡ ἐκδίκησις τῆς πόλεως καὶ ἕκαστος εἶχεν τὰ σκεύη τῆς ἐξολεθρεύσεως ἐν χειρὶ αὐτοῦEz 9:1
And he cried in mine ears with a loud voice, saying, The judgment of the city has drawn nigh; and each had the weapons of destruction in his hand.
Ez 9:1Then he cried in my ears with a loud voice, saying, Cause those who are in charge of the city to draw near, every man with his destroying weapon in his hand.and He hollered into my ears by a great sound saying "The vengeance of the city has come" and each had the vessels of destruction in his hand

2Ez 9:22וְהִנֵּ֣ה שִׁשָּׁ֣ה אֲנָשִׁ֡ים בָּאִ֣ים ׀ מִדֶּרֶךְ־שַׁ֨עַר הָעֶלְי֜וֹן אֲשֶׁ֣ר ׀ מָפְנֶ֣ה צָפ֗וֹנָה וְאִ֨ישׁ כְּלִ֤י מַפָּצוֹ֙ בְּיָד֔וֹ וְאִישׁ־אֶחָ֤ד בְּתוֹכָם֙ לָבֻ֣שׁ בַּדִּ֔ים וְקֶ֥סֶת הַסֹּפֵ֖ר בְּמָתְנָ֑יו וַיָּבֹ֙אוּ֙ וַיַּ֣עַמְד֔וּ אֵ֖צֶל מִזְבַּ֥ח הַנְּחֹֽשֶׁת׃Ez 9:2
Behold, six men came from the way of the upper gate, which lies toward the north, every man with his slaughter weapon in his hand; and one man in the midst of them clothed in linen, with a writer’s inkhorn by his side. They went in, and stood beside the bronze altar.
Ez 9:2Ez 9:2καὶ ἰδοὺ ἓξ ἄνδρες ἤρχοντο ἀπὸ τῆς ὁδοῦ τῆς πύλης τῆς ὑψηλῆς τῆς βλεπούσης πρὸς βορρᾶν καὶ ἑκάστου πέλυξ ἐν τῇ χειρὶ αὐτοῦ καὶ εἷς ἀνὴρ ἐν μέσῳ αὐτῶν ἐνδεδυκὼς ποδήρη καὶ ζώνη σαπφείρου ἐπὶ τῆς ὀσφύος αὐτοῦ καὶ εἰσήλθοσαν καὶ ἔστησαν ἐχόμενοι τοῦ θυσιαστηρίου τοῦ χαλκοῦEz 9:2
And, behold, six men came from the way of the high gate that looks toward the north, and each one's axe was in his hand; and there was one man in the midst of them clothed with a long robe down to the feet, and a sapphire girdle was on his loins: and they came in and stood near the brazen altar.

They went in, and stood beside the bronze altar.and behold six men came from the way of the high gate of the lookout toward the north and of each an axe in his hand and one man in the middle of them clothed down the feet and saphire waistband over his loins and they entered and stood by the altar made of copper.

3Ez 9:33וּכְב֣וֹד ׀ אֱלֹהֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֗ל נַעֲלָה֙ מֵעַ֤ל הַכְּרוּב֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר הָיָ֣ה עָלָ֔יו אֶ֖ל מִפְתַּ֣ן הַבָּ֑יִת וַיִּקְרָ֗א אֶל־הָאִישׁ֙ הַלָּבֻ֣שׁ הַבַּדִּ֔ים אֲשֶׁ֛ר קֶ֥סֶת הַסֹּפֵ֖ר בְּמָתְנָֽיו׃ ס Ez 9:3
The glory of the God of Israel was gone up from the cherub, whereupon it was, to the threshold of the house: and he called to the man clothed in linen, who had the writer’s inkhorn by his side.
Ez 9:3Ez 9:3καὶ δόξα θεοῦ τοῦ Ισραηλ ἀνέβη ἀπὸ τῶν χερουβιν ἡ οὖσα ἐπ’ αὐτῶν εἰς τὸ αἴθριον τοῦ οἴκου καὶ ἐκάλεσεν τὸν ἄνδρα τὸν ἐνδεδυκότα τὸν ποδήρη ὃς εἶχεν ἐπὶ τῆς ὀσφύος αὐτοῦ τὴν ζώνηνEz 9:3
And the glory of the God of Israel, that was upon them, went up from the cherubs to the porch of the house. And he called the man that was clothed with the long robe, who had the girdle on his loins;

Ez 9:4
Yahweh said to him, Go through the midst of the city, through the midst of Jerusalem, and set a mark on the foreheads of the men that sigh and that cry over all the abominations that are done in its midst.
Ez 9:4Ez 9:4καὶ εἶπεν πρὸς αὐτόν δίελθε μέσην τὴν Ιερουσαλημ καὶ δὸς τὸ σημεῖον ἐπὶ τὰ μέτωπα τῶν ἀνδρῶν τῶν καταστεναζόντων καὶ τῶν κατωδυνωμένων ἐπὶ πάσαις ταῖς ἀνομίαις ταῖς γινομέναις ἐν μέσῳ αὐτῆςEz 9:4
And said to him, Go through the midst of Jerusalem, and set a mark on the foreheads of the men that groan and that grieve for all the iniquities that are done in the midst of them.
Ez 9:4Yahweh said to him, Go through the midst of the city, through the midst of Jerusalem, and set a mark on the foreheads of the men that sigh and that cry over all the abominations that are done in its midst.and he said to him "pass in the middle of Jerousalem and give the sign upon the foreheads of the men of mourning and of those greatly afflicted by all the lawless deeds happening in the midst of her.

Ez 9:5Ez 9:5καὶ τούτοις εἶπεν ἀκούοντός μου πορεύεσθε ὀπίσω αὐτοῦ εἰς τὴν πόλιν καὶ κόπτετε καὶ μὴ φείδεσθε τοῖς ὀφθαλμοῖς ὑμῶν καὶ μὴ ἐλεήσητεEz 9:5
And he said to the first in my hearing, Go after him into the city, and smite: and let not your eyes spare, and have no mercy.

Slay utterly old man and youth, and virgin, and infants, and women: but go ye not nigh any on whom is the mark: begin at my sanctuary. So they began with the elder men who were within in the house.

Ez 9:7He said to them, Defile the house, and fill the courts with the slain. Go forth! They went forth, and struck in the city.and He said to them pollute the house and fill the roads with the dead and cut off anyone fleeing

It happened, while they were smiting, and I was left, that I fell on my face, and cried, and said, Ah Lord Yahweh! will you destroy all the residue of Israel in your pouring out of your wrath on Jerusalem?
Ez 9:8Ez 9:8καὶ ἐγένετο ἐν τῷ κόπτειν αὐτοὺς καὶ πίπτω ἐπὶ πρόσωπόν μου καὶ ἀνεβόησα καὶ εἶπα οἴμμοι κύριε ἐξαλείφεις σὺ τοὺς καταλοίπους τοῦ Ισραηλ ἐν τῷ ἐκχέαι σε τὸν θυμόν σου ἐπὶ ΙερουσαλημEz 9:8
And it came to pass as they were smiting, that I fell upon my face, and cried out, and said, Alas, O Lord! wilt thou destroy the remnant of Israel, in pouring out thy wrath upon Jerusalem?
Ez 9:8It happened, while they were smiting, and I was left, that I fell on my face, and cried, and said, Ah Lord Yahweh! will you destroy all the residue of Israel in your pouring out of your wrath on Jerusalem?and it happened while they were smiting that I fell upon my face and cried out saying "Oh my Lord, you are wiping out the rest of Israel by the pouring out of your fierce anger upon Jerousalem!!"

Then said he to me, The iniquity of the house of Israel and Juda is become very exceedingly great: for the land is filled with many nations, and the city is filled with iniquity and uncleanness: because they have said, The Lord has forsaken the earth, The Lord looks not upon it.
Ez 9:9Then he said to me, The iniquity of the house of Israel and Judah is exceedingly great, and the land is full of blood, and the city full of perversion: for they say, Yahweh has forsaken the land, and Yahweh doesn’t see.and He said to me "The wickedness of the house of Israel and Judah has been magnified exceedingly exceedingly and the city is filled to capacity of wickedness and filth because they say the Lord has forsaken the land and the Lord is not watching

And, behold, the man clothed with the long robe, and girt with the girdle about his loins, answered and said, I have done as thou didst command me.
Ez 9:11Behold, the man clothed in linen, who had the inkhorn by his side, reported the matter, saying, I have done as you have commanded me.and behold the man clothed to his feet and having been dressed by the waist band of his loins answered saying "I have done as you commanded me"
