¶He said to me, Son of man, stand on your feet, and I will speak with you.
Ez 2:1Ez 2:1καὶ εἶπεν πρός με υἱὲ ἀνθρώπου στῆθι ἐπὶ τοὺς πόδας σου καὶ λαλήσω πρὸς σέEz 2:1
This was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of the Lord. And I saw and fell upon my face, and heard the voice of one speaking: and he said to me, Son of man, stand upon thy feet, and I will speak to thee.
Ez 2:1
¶He said to me, Son of man, stand on your feet, and I will speak with you.
2Ez 2:22וַתָּ֧בֹא בִ֣י ר֗וּחַ כַּֽאֲשֶׁר֙ דִּבֶּ֣ר אֵלַ֔י וַתַּעֲמִדֵ֖נִי עַל־רַגְלָ֑י וָאֶשְׁמַ֕ע אֵ֖ת מִדַּבֵּ֥ר אֵלָֽי׃ פ Ez 2:2
The Spirit entered into me when he spoke to me, and set me on my feet; and I heard him who spoke to me.
Ez 2:2Ez 2:2καὶ ἦλθεν ἐπ’ ἐμὲ πνεῦμα καὶ ἀνέλαβέν με καὶ ἐξῆρέν με καὶ ἔστησέν με ἐπὶ τοὺς πόδας μου καὶ ἤκουον αὐτοῦ λαλοῦντος πρός μεEz 2:2
And the Spirit came upon me, and took me up, and raised me, and set me on my feet: and I heard him speaking to me.

3Ez 2:33וַיֹּ֣אמֶר אֵלַ֗י בֶּן־אָדָם֙ שׁוֹלֵ֨חַ אֲנִ֤י אֽוֹתְךָ֙ אֶל־בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל אֶל־גּוֹיִ֥ם הַמּוֹרְדִ֖ים אֲשֶׁ֣ר מָרְדוּ־בִ֑י הֵ֤מָּה וַאֲבוֹתָם֙ פָּ֣שְׁעוּ בִ֔י עַד־עֶ֖צֶם הַיּ֥וֹם הַזֶּֽה׃Ez 2:3
He said to me, Son of man, I send you to the children of Israel, to a nation of rebels who have rebelled against me. They and their fathers have transgressed against me even to this very day.
Ez 2:3Ez 2:3καὶ εἶπεν πρός με υἱὲ ἀνθρώπου ἐξαποστέλλω ἐγώ σε πρὸς τὸν οἶκον τοῦ Ισραηλ τοὺς παραπικραίνοντάς με οἵτινες παρεπίκρανάν με αὐτοὶ καὶ οἱ πατέρες αὐτῶν ἕως τῆς σήμερον ἡμέραςEz 2:3
And he said to me, Son of Man, I send thee forth to the house of Israel, them that provoke me; who have provoked me, they and their fathers to this day.
Ez 2:3
He said to me, Son of man, I send you to the children of Israel, to a nation of rebels who have rebelled against me. They and their fathers have transgressed against me even to this very day.
4Ez 2:44וְהַבָּנִ֗ים קְשֵׁ֤י פָנִים֙ וְחִזְקֵי־לֵ֔ב אֲנִ֛י שׁוֹלֵ֥חַ אוֹתְךָ֖ אֲלֵיהֶ֑ם וְאָמַרְתָּ֣ אֲלֵיהֶ֔ם כֹּ֥ה אָמַ֖ר אֲדֹנָ֥י יְהֹוִֽה׃Ez 2:4
The children are impudent and stiff-hearted: I am sending you to them; and you shall tell them, Thus says the Lord Yahweh.

They, whether they will hear, or whether they will forbear, (for they are a rebellious house), yet shall know that there has been a prophet among them.
Ez 2:5Ez 2:5ἐὰν ἄρα ἀκούσωσιν ἢ πτοηθῶσιν διότι οἶκος παραπικραίνων ἐστίν καὶ γνώσονται ὅτι προφήτης εἶ σὺ ἐν μέσῳ αὐτῶνEz 2:5
Whether then indeed they shall hear or fear, (for it is a provoking house,) yet they shall know that thou art a prophet in the midst of them.

6Ez 2:66וְאַתָּ֣ה בֶן־אָ֠דָם אַל־תִּירָ֨א מֵהֶ֜ם וּמִדִּבְרֵיהֶ֣ם אַל־תִּירָ֗א כִּ֣י סָרָבִ֤ים וְסַלּוֹנִים֙ אוֹתָ֔ךְ וְאֶל־עַקְרַבִּ֖ים אַתָּ֣ה יוֹשֵׁ֑ב מִדִּבְרֵיהֶ֤ם אַל־תִּירָא֙ וּמִפְּנֵיהֶ֣ם אַל־תֵּחָ֔ת כִּ֛י בֵּ֥ית מְרִ֖י הֵֽמָּה׃Ez 2:6
You, son of man, don’t be afraid of them, neither be afraid of their words, though briers and thorns are with you, and you do dwell among scorpions: don’t be afraid of their words, nor be dismayed at their looks, though they are a rebellious house.
Ez 2:6Ez 2:6καὶ σύ υἱὲ ἀνθρώπου μὴ φοβηθῇς αὐτοὺς μηδὲ ἐκστῇς ἀπὸ προσώπου αὐτῶν διότι παροιστρήσουσι καὶ ἐπισυστήσονται ἐπὶ σὲ κύκλῳ καὶ ἐν μέσῳ σκορπίων σὺ κατοικεῖς τοὺς λόγους αὐτῶν μὴ φοβηθῇς καὶ ἀπὸ προσώπου αὐτῶν μὴ ἐκστῇς διότι οἶκος παραπικραίνων ἐστίνEz 2:6
And thou, son of man, fear them not, nor be dismayed at their face; (for they will madden and will rise up against thee round about, and thou dwellest in the midst of scorpions): be not afraid of their words, nor be dismayed at their countenance, for it is a provoking house.
Ez 2:6You, son of man, don’t be afraid of them, neither be afraid of their words, though briers and thorns are with you, and you do dwell among scorpions: don’t be afraid of their words, nor be dismayed at their looks, though they are a rebellious house.and you, son of man, do not fear them, neither be astonished by their face because they will incite and band together upon you in a circle, and you reside in the middle of scorpions, do not fear their words, and by their faces, do not be astonished because it is an embittering house.

And thou, son of man, hear him that speaks to thee; be not thou provoking, as the provoking house: open thy mouth, and eat what I give thee.

But you, son of man, hear what I tell you; don’t be rebellious like that rebellious house: open your mouth, and eat that which I give you.
9Ez 2:99וָאֶרְאֶ֕ה וְהִנֵּה־יָ֖ד שְׁלוּחָ֣ה אֵלָ֑י וְהִנֵּה־ב֖וֹ מְגִלַּת־סֵֽפֶר׃Ez 2:9
When I looked, behold, a hand was put forth to me; and, behold, a scroll of a book was therein;
Ez 2:9Ez 2:9καὶ εἶδον καὶ ἰδοὺ χεὶρ ἐκτεταμένη πρός με καὶ ἐν αὐτῇ κεφαλὶς βιβλίουEz 2:9
And I looked, and behold, a hand stretched out to me, and in it a volume of a book.

When I looked, behold, a hand was put forth to me; and, behold, a scroll of a book was therein;
10Ez 2:1010וַיִּפְרֹ֤שׂ אוֹתָהּ֙ לְפָנַ֔י וְהִ֥יא כְתוּבָ֖ה פָּנִ֣ים וְאָח֑וֹר וְכָת֣וּב אֵלֶ֔יהָ קִנִ֥ים וָהֶ֖גֶה וָהִֽי׃ ס Ez 2:10
He spread it before me: and it was written within and without; and there were written therein lamentations, and mourning, and woe.
Ez 2:10Ez 2:10καὶ ἀνείλησεν αὐτὴν ἐνώπιον ἐμοῦ καὶ ἐν αὐτῇ γεγραμμένα ἦν τὰ ὄπισθεν καὶ τὰ ἔμπροσθεν καὶ ἐγέγραπτο εἰς αὐτὴν θρῆνος καὶ μέλος καὶ οὐαίEz 2:10
And he unrolled it before me: and in it the front and the back were written upon: and there was written in it Lamentation, and mournful song, and woe.
