Welcome and Eat with Sinners

If a man has one hundred sheep, and one of them goes astray, doesn’t he leave the ninety-nine, go to the mountains, and seek that which has gone astray?Lk 15:4“Which of you men, if you had one hundred sheep, and lost one of them, wouldn’t leave the ninety-nine in the wilderness, and go after the one that was lost, until he found it?

7(Mk)(Mt)Lk 15:7I tell you that even so there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents, than over ninety-nine righteous people who need no repentance.

The Prodigal Son

18(Mk)(Mt)Lk 15:18ἀναστὰς πορεύσομαι πρὸς τὸν πατέρα μου, καὶ ἐρῶ αὐτῷ, Πάτερ, ἥμαρτον εἰς τὸν οὐρανὸν καὶ ἐνώπιόν σου·18(Mk)(Mt)Lk 15:18I will get up and go to my father, and will tell him, “Father, I have sinned against heaven, and in your sight.19(Mk)(Mt)Lk 15:19{ καὶ ⬪ - } οὐκέτι εἰμὶ ἄξιος κληθῆναι υἱός σου· ποίησόν με ὡς ἕνα τῶν μισθίων σου.
