who was delivered up because of for our trespasses, and was raised because of for our justification.
———
a In both cases it is dia with the accusative; although different senses for the two uses of dia are technically possible, the rhetorical nature of the repetition strongly suggests that Paul meant them to be understood identically. That is, presumably, Jesus was delivered up because of our trespasses, and raised because of our justification, as accomplished in that death.
