a see Luke 12:19 for a stark contrast between the "rest" αναπαυου attempted by the "rich man" putting up more barns and those who herein put their FAITH in Jesus Christ by coming to HIM for REST. Jesus is the subject of the verb doing the action of resting you who come to Him.... The rich man, on the other hand, has placed his faith in his own labors and acquisition of goods and thus commands his own soul to "rest". Only in Jesus can we find rest for our souls.
