Mk 6:22
When the daughter[a] of Herodias herself came in and danced, she pleased Herod and those sitting with him. The king said to the young lady, “Ask me whatever you want, and I will give it to you.”
———
a Salome, daughter of Herodias and Herod Antipas' half-brother Herod II Boethus. Salome eventually married another half-brother of Herod Antipas, Philip the Tetrarch (see Lk. 3:1), tetrarch of Iturea, Trachonitis, and Batanea, and half-brother of Herod II, Herod Archelaus (see Mt. 2:22), and Herod Antipas. (Salome is never named in the New Testament, rather her name is found in Josephus' Jewish Antiquities.)
