Ps 87:1
A Psalm of a Song for the sons of Core. His foundations are in the holy mountains.

Ps 87:1Ps 87:1לִבְנֵי־קֹ֭רַח מִזְמ֣וֹר שִׁ֑יר יְ֝סוּדָת֗וֹ בְּהַרְרֵי־קֹֽדֶשׁ׃Ps 87:0-1
(0) ¶A Psalm by the sons of Korah; a Song. (1)
His foundation is in the holy mountains.
2Ps 87:22ἀγαπᾷ κύριος τὰς πύλας Σιων ὑπὲρ πάντα τὰ σκηνώματα ΙακωβPs 87:2
The Lord loves the gates of Sion, more than all the tabernacles of Jacob.
Ps 87:2
Yahweh loves the gates of Zion more than all the dwellings of Jacob.
Ps 87:2Ps 87:2אֹהֵ֣ב יְ֭הוָה שַׁעֲרֵ֣י צִיּ֑וֹן מִ֝כֹּ֗ל מִשְׁכְּנ֥וֹת יַעֲקֹֽב׃Ps 87:2
Yahweh loves the gates of Zion more than all the dwellings of Jacob.
3Ps 87:33δεδοξασμένα ἐλαλήθη περὶ σοῦ ἡ πόλις τοῦ θεοῦ διάψαλμαPs 87:3
Glorious things have been spoken of thee, O city of God. Pause.

4Ps 87:44μνησθήσομαι Ρααβ καὶ Βαβυλῶνος τοῖς γινώσκουσίν με καὶ ἰδοὺ ἀλλόφυλοι καὶ Τύρος καὶ λαὸς Αἰθιόπων οὗτοι ἐγενήθησαν ἐκεῖPs 87:4
I will make mention of Raab and Babylon to them that know me: behold also the Philistines, and Tyre, and the people of the Ethiopians: these were born there.
Ps 87:4
I will record Rahab and Babylon among those who acknowledge me.
Behold, Philistia, Tyre, and also Ethiopia:
“This one was born there.”
Ps 87:4Ps 87:4אַזְכִּ֤יר ׀ רַ֥הַב וּבָבֶ֗ל לְֽיֹ֫דְעָ֥י הִנֵּ֤ה פְלֶ֣שֶׁת וְצ֣וֹר עִם־כּ֑וּשׁ זֶ֝֗ה יֻלַּד־שָֽׁם׃Ps 87:4
I will record Rahab and Babylon among those who acknowledge me.

5Ps 87:55μήτηρ Σιων ἐρεῖ ἄνθρωπος καὶ ἄνθρωπος ἐγενήθη ἐν αὐτῇ καὶ αὐτὸς ἐθεμελίωσεν αὐτὴν ὁ ὕψιστοςPs 87:5
A man shall say, Sion is my mother; and such a man was born in her; and the Highest himself has founded her.
Ps 87:5
Yes, of Zion it will be said, “This one and that one was born in her;”
the Most High himself will establish her.
Ps 87:5Ps 87:5וּֽלֲצִיּ֨וֹן ׀ יֵאָמַ֗ר אִ֣ישׁ וְ֭אִישׁ יֻלַּד־בָּ֑הּ וְה֖וּא יְכוֹנְנֶ֣הָ עֶלְיֽוֹן׃Ps 87:5
Yes, of Zion it will be said, “This one and that one was born in her;”
the Most High himself will establish her.
6Ps 87:66κύριος διηγήσεται ἐν γραφῇ λαῶν καὶ ἀρχόντων τούτων τῶν γεγενημένων ἐν αὐτῇ διάψαλμαPs 87:6
The Lord shall recount it in the writing of the people, and of these princes that were born in her.
Ps 87:6
Yahweh will count, when he writes up the peoples,
“This one was born there.”

7Ps 87:77ὡς εὐφραινομένων πάντων ἡ κατοικία ἐν σοίPs 87:7
The dwelling of all within thee is as the dwelling of those that rejoice.
Ps 87:7
Those who sing as well as those who dance say,
“All my springs are in you.”
Ps 87:7Ps 87:7וְשָׁרִ֥ים כְּחֹלְלִ֑ים כָּֽל־מַעְיָנַ֥י בָּֽךְ׃Ps 87:7
