And the Lord will have mercy on Jacob, and will yet choose Israel, and they shall rest on their land: and the stranger shall be added to them, yea, shall be added to the house of Jacob.
Is 14:1¶For Yahweh will have compassion on Jacob, and will yet choose Israel, and set them in their own land. The foreigner will join himself with them, and they will unite with the house of Jacob.And the Lord will show mercy to Jacob and Israel will still be chosen and they will have rest* in their land and the proselyte will be added among them and will be added to the house of Jacob.

2Is 14:22καὶ λήμψονται αὐτοὺς ἔθνη καὶ εἰσάξουσιν εἰς τὸν τόπον αὐτῶν καὶ κατακληρονομήσουσιν καὶ πληθυνθήσονται ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς τοῦ θεοῦ εἰς δούλους καὶ δούλας καὶ ἔσονται αἰχμάλωτοι οἱ αἰχμαλωτεύσαντες αὐτούς καὶ κυριευθήσονται οἱ κυριεύσαντες αὐτῶνIs 14:2
And the Gentiles shall take them, and bring them into their place: and they shall inherit them, and they shall be multiplied upon the land for servants and handmaidens: and they that took them captives shall become captives to them; and they that had lordship over them shall be under their rule.
Is 14:2The peoples will take them, and bring them to their place.The house of Israel will possess them in Yahweh’s land for servants and for handmaids. They will take as captives those whose captives they were; and they shall rule over their oppressors.
¶and nations will receive them and will lead into their place and obtain the inheritance and they will be multiplied over the land of God into servant men and servant women and the ones capturing them will be captives and the ones lording over them will be lorded over.

3Is 14:33καὶ ἔσται ἐν τῇ ἡμέρᾳ ἐκείνῃ ἀναπαύσει σε ὁ θεὸς ἐκ τῆς ὀδύνης καὶ τοῦ θυμοῦ σου καὶ τῆς δουλείας σου τῆς σκληρᾶς ἧς ἐδούλευσας αὐτοῖςIs 14:3
And it shall come to pass in that day, that the Lord shall give thee rest from thy sorrow and vexation, and from thy hard servitude wherein thou didst serve them.
Is 14:3It will happen in the day that Yahweh will give you rest from your sorrow, from your trouble, and from the hard service in which you were made to serve,and it will be in the day that God will give you rest out of your grief and anguish and your hard servitude which you served to them.

And thou shalt take up this lamentation against the king of Babylon, How has the extortioner ceased, and the taskmaster ceased!
Is 14:4that you will take up this parable against the king of Babylon, and say, “How the oppressor has ceased! The golden city has ceased!and you will take this lamentation over the King of Babylon and in that day "How the strifes of the extortioner have been put to rest and the taskmaster put to rest!"

Having smitten a nation in wrath, with an incurable plague, smiting a nation with a wrathful plague, which spared them not, he rested in quiet.

the trees also of Libanus rejoice against thee, and the cedar of Libanus, saying, From the time that thou hast been laid low, no one has come up to cut us down.
Is 14:8Yes, the fir trees rejoice with you, with the cedars of Lebanon, saying, “Since you are humbled, no lumberjack has come up against us.”and the trees of Lebanon rejoiced over you and the cedars of Lebanon from where you were laid, the one cutting us off ascended not.

Hell from beneath is provoked to meet thee: all the great ones that have ruled over the earth have risen up together against thee, they that have raised up from their thrones all the kings of the nations.
Is 14:9Sheol from beneath has moved for you to meet you at your coming. It stirs up the dead for you, even all the rulers of the earth. It has raised up from their thrones all the kings of the nations.
Hades from below was embittered meeting you, all the giants were stirred up by you, the rulers of the earth, the ones raising out of their thrones all the kings of the nations

How has he fallen from heaven, carrier of dawnᵃ, the one rising in the morning? He is crushed into the earth the one sent forth to all the nations.

a εωσφορος is the strange word for which we get "Lucifer" from Jerome's translation into Latin but it is important to distinguish it from πρωινος which does mean " morning star" and appears in Rev 2:28 & Rev 22:16 and 12 other times in the LXX (Hos 6:4, 13:3, !Kgs 11:11, Ex 29:41, 4Kgs 16:5, 2Chr 31:3, Nm 28:23, Gn 49:27, 1Rsd 5:49, 1Eds 1:12, Jb 38:12 and Lv 9:17.) literally the bearer of "eos" (dawn/until) BUT NOT THE BEARER of phos (light)

But you will be cast with the mountains like the abhorrent dead with the many mortals pierced of swords, descending into Hades, in the manner which clothing soaked in blood is not clean

As a garment defiled with blood shall not be pure, so neither shalt thou be pure; because thou hast destroyed my land, and hast slain my people: thou shalt not endure for ever, —thou an evil seed.
Is 14:20You will not join them in burial, because you have destroyed your land. You have killed your people. The seed of evildoers will not be named forever.so neither will you be clean because the land of mine you destroyed and the people of mine you killed; you won't remain until the age of time, wicked seed!

Prepare thy children to be slain for the sins of their father; that they arise not, and inherit the earth, nor fill the earth with wars.

And the poor shall be fed by him, and poor men shall rest in peace: but he shall destroy thy seed with hunger, and shall destroy thy remnant.
Is 14:30The firstborn of the poor will eat, and the needy will lie down in safety; and I will kill your root with famine, and your remnant will be killed.
and the poor will graze because of him but the poor men of peace will be rested yet by famine he will kill your seed and he will kill your remnant
