2Ex 21:22כִּ֤י תִקְנֶה֙ עֶ֣בֶד עִבְרִ֔י שֵׁ֥שׁ שָׁנִ֖ים יַעֲבֹ֑ד וּבַ֨שְּׁבִעִ֔ת יֵצֵ֥א לַֽחָפְשִׁ֖י חִנָּֽם׃Ex 21:2
¶“If you buy a Hebrew servant, he shall serve six years and in the seventh he shall go out free without paying anything.
Ex 21:2Ex 21:2ἐὰν κτήσῃ παῖδα Εβραῖον ἓξ ἔτη δουλεύσει σοι τῷ δὲ ἑβδόμῳ ἔτει ἀπελεύσεται ἐλεύθερος δωρεάνEx 21:2
If thou buy a Hebrew servant, six years shall he serve thee, and in the seventh year he shall go forth free for nothing.

3Ex 21:33אִם־בְּגַפּ֥וֹ יָבֹ֖א בְּגַפּ֣וֹ יֵצֵ֑א אִם־בַּ֤עַל אִשָּׁה֙ ה֔וּא וְיָצְאָ֥ה אִשְׁתּ֖וֹ עִמּֽוֹ׃Ex 21:3
If he comes in by himself, he shall go out by himself. If he is married, then his wife shall go out with him.

If he should have come in alone, he shall also go forth alone; and if his wife should have gone in together with him, his wife also shall go out.
Ex 21:3If he comes in by himself, he shall go out by himself. If he is married, then his wife shall go out with him.If he comes in alone, he shall go out alone but if a wife enter with him then the wife will come out with him.

4Ex 21:44אִם־אֲדֹנָיו֙ יִתֶּן־ל֣וֹ אִשָּׁ֔ה וְיָלְדָה־ל֥וֹ בָנִ֖ים א֣וֹ בָנ֑וֹת הָאִשָּׁ֣ה וִילָדֶ֗יהָ תִּהְיֶה֙ לַֽאדֹנֶ֔יהָ וְה֖וּא יֵצֵ֥א בְגַפּֽוֹ׃Ex 21:4
If his master gives him a wife and she bears him sons or daughters, the wife and her children shall be her master’s, and he shall go out by himself.

Moreover, if his master give him a wife, and she have born him sons or daughters, the wife and the children shall be his master's; and he shall go forth alone.
Ex 21:4If, however his lordmaster givesshould give him a wife and she bears him sons or daughters, the wife and her children shall be her his master’slord's, and he shall go out by himselfalone.

5Ex 21:55וְאִם־אָמֹ֤ר יֹאמַר֙ הָעֶ֔בֶד אָהַ֙בְתִּי֙ אֶת־אֲדֹנִ֔י אֶת־אִשְׁתִּ֖י וְאֶת־בָּנָ֑י לֹ֥א אֵצֵ֖א חָפְשִֽׁי׃Ex 21:5
But if the servant shall plainly say, ‘I love my master, my wife, and my children. I will not go out free;’

And if the servant should answer and say, I love my master and wife and children, I will not go away free;

But if the servant shall plainly say, ‘I love my master, my wife, and my children. I will not go out free;’
6Ex 21:66וְהִגִּישׁ֤וֹ אֲדֹנָיו֙ אֶל־הָ֣אֱלֹהִ֔ים וְהִגִּישׁוֹ֙ אֶל־הַדֶּ֔לֶת א֖וֹ אֶל־הַמְּזוּזָ֑ה וְרָצַ֨ע אֲדֹנָ֤יו אֶת־אָזְנוֹ֙ בַּמַּרְצֵ֔עַ וַעֲבָד֖וֹ לְעֹלָֽם׃ ס Ex 21:6
then his master shall bring him to God, and shall bring him to the door or to the doorpost, and his master shall bore his ear through with an awl, and he shall serve him for ever.
Ex 21:6Ex 21:6προσάξει αὐτὸν ὁ κύριος αὐτοῦ πρὸς τὸ κριτήριον τοῦ θεοῦ καὶ τότε προσάξει αὐτὸν ἐπὶ τὴν θύραν ἐπὶ τὸν σταθμόν καὶ τρυπήσει αὐτοῦ ὁ κύριος τὸ οὖς τῷ ὀπητίῳ καὶ δουλεύσει αὐτῷ εἰς τὸν αἰῶναEx 21:6
his master shall bring him to the judgment-seat of God, and then shall he bring him to the door, —to the door-post, and his master shall bore his ear through with an awl, and he shall serve him for ever.
Ex 21:6then his masterlord shall bring him to the court of God, and then shall bring him to the door uponor to the doorpost, and his masterlord shall bore his ear through with an awl, and he shall serve him for ever.

7Ex 21:77וְכִֽי־יִמְכֹּ֥ר אִ֛ישׁ אֶת־בִּתּ֖וֹ לְאָמָ֑ה לֹ֥א תֵצֵ֖א כְּצֵ֥את הָעֲבָדִֽים׃Ex 21:7
¶“If a man sells his daughter to be a female servant, she shall not go out as the male servants do.

Ex 21:8
If she doesn’t please her master, who has married her to himself, then he shall let her be redeemed. He shall have no right to sell her to a foreign people, since he has dealt deceitfully with her.
Ex 21:8Ex 21:8ἐὰν μὴ εὐαρεστήσῃ τῷ κυρίῳ αὐτῆς ἣν αὑτῷ καθωμολογήσατο ἀπολυτρώσει αὐτήν ἔθνει δὲ ἀλλοτρίῳ οὐ κύριός ἐστιν πωλεῖν αὐτήν ὅτι ἠθέτησεν ἐν αὐτῇEx 21:8
If she be not pleasing to her master, after she has betrothed herself to him, he shall let her go free; but he is not at liberty to sell her to a foreign nation, because he has trifled with her.
Ex 21:8If she doesn’t please her master, lord who has married betrothed her to himself, then he shall let her be redeemed. He shall have no right to sell her to a foreign people, since he has dealt deceitfully with her.But to a foreign nation the lord is not to sell her for he has set her at naught.

9Ex 21:99וְאִם־לִבְנ֖וֹ יִֽיעָדֶ֑נָּה כְּמִשְׁפַּ֥ט הַבָּנ֖וֹת יַעֲשֶׂה־לָּֽהּ׃Ex 21:9
If he marries her to his son, he shall deal with her as a daughter.
Ex 21:9Ex 21:9ἐὰν δὲ τῷ υἱῷ καθομολογήσηται αὐτήν κατὰ τὸ δικαίωμα τῶν θυγατέρων ποιήσει αὐτῇEx 21:9
And if he should have betrothed her to his son, he shall do to her according to the right of daughters.

10Ex 21:1010אִם־אַחֶ֖רֶת יִֽקַּֽח־ל֑וֹ שְׁאֵרָ֛הּ כְּסוּתָ֥הּ וְעֹנָתָ֖הּ לֹ֥א יִגְרָֽע׃Ex 21:10
If he takes another wife to himself, he shall not diminish her food, her clothing, and her marital rights.
Ex 21:10Ex 21:10ἐὰν δὲ ἄλλην λάβῃ ἑαυτῷ τὰ δέοντα καὶ τὸν ἱματισμὸν καὶ τὴν ὁμιλίαν αὐτῆς οὐκ ἀποστερήσειEx 21:10
And if he take another to himself, he shall not deprive her of necessaries and her apparel, and her companionship with him.
Ex 21:10
If he takes another wife to himself, he shall not diminish her food, her clothing, and her marital rights.
11Ex 21:1111וְאִם־שְׁלָ֨שׁ־אֵ֔לֶּה לֹ֥א יַעֲשֶׂ֖ה לָ֑הּ וְיָצְאָ֥ה חִנָּ֖ם אֵ֥ין כָּֽסֶף׃ ס Ex 21:11
If he doesn’t do these three things for her, she may go free without paying any money.
Ex 21:11Ex 21:11ἐὰν δὲ τὰ τρία ταῦτα μὴ ποιήσῃ αὐτῇ ἐξελεύσεται δωρεὰν ἄνευ ἀργυρίουEx 21:11
And if he will not do these three things to her, she shall go out free without money.
Ex 21:11
If he doesn’t do these three things for her, she may go free without paying any money.
12Ex 21:1212מַכֵּ֥ה אִ֛ישׁ וָמֵ֖ת מ֥וֹת יוּמָֽת׃Ex 21:12
¶“One who strikes a man so that he dies shall surely be put to death,
Ex 21:12Ex 21:12ἐὰν δὲ πατάξῃ τίς τινα καὶ ἀποθάνῃ θανάτῳ θανατούσθωEx 21:12
And if any man smite another and he die, let him be certainly put to death.
Ex 21:12
¶“One who strikes a man so that he dies shall surely be put to death,
13Ex 21:1313וַאֲשֶׁר֙ לֹ֣א צָדָ֔ה וְהָאֱלֹהִ֖ים אִנָּ֣ה לְיָד֑וֹ וְשַׂמְתִּ֤י לְךָ֙ מָק֔וֹם אֲשֶׁ֥ר יָנ֖וּס שָֽׁמָּה׃ ס Ex 21:13
but not if it is unintentional, but God allows it to happen: then I will appoint you a place where he shall flee.
Ex 21:13Ex 21:13ὁ δὲ οὐχ ἑκών ἀλλὰ ὁ θεὸς παρέδωκεν εἰς τὰς χεῖρας αὐτοῦ δώσω σοι τόπον οὗ φεύξεται ἐκεῖ ὁ φονεύσαςEx 21:13
But as for him that did it not willingly, but God delivered him into his hands, I will give thee a place whither the slayer may flee.
Ex 21:13

14Ex 21:1414וְכִי־יָזִ֥ד אִ֛ישׁ עַל־רֵעֵ֖הוּ לְהָרְג֣וֹ בְעָרְמָ֑ה מֵעִ֣ם מִזְבְּחִ֔י תִּקָּחֶ֖נּוּ לָמֽוּת׃ ס Ex 21:14
If a man schemes and comes presumptuously on his neighbor to kill him, you shall take him from my altar, that he may die.
Ex 21:14Ex 21:14ἐὰν δέ τις ἐπιθῆται τῷ πλησίον ἀποκτεῖναι αὐτὸν δόλῳ καὶ καταφύγῃ ἀπὸ τοῦ θυσιαστηρίου μου λήμψῃ αὐτὸν θανατῶσαιEx 21:14
And if any one lie in wait for his neighbour to slay him by craft, and he go for refuge, thou shalt take him from my altar to put him to death.
Ex 21:14

15Ex 21:1515וּמַכֵּ֥ה אָבִ֛יו וְאִמּ֖וֹ מ֥וֹת יוּמָֽת׃Ex 21:15
¶“Anyone who attacks his father or his mother shall be surely put to death.
Ex 21:15Ex 21:15ὃς τύπτει πατέρα αὐτοῦ ἢ μητέρα αὐτοῦ θανάτῳ θανατούσθωEx 21:15
Whoever smites his father or his mother, let him be certainly put to death.

¶“Anyone who attacks his father or his mother shall be surely put to death.
16Ex 21:1616וְגֹנֵ֨ב אִ֧ישׁ וּמְכָר֛וֹ וְנִמְצָ֥א בְיָד֖וֹ מ֥וֹת יוּמָֽת׃ ס Ex 21:16
¶“Anyone who kidnaps someone and sells him, or if he is found in his hand, he shall surely be put to death.
Ex 21:16Ex 21:16ὁ κακολογῶν πατέρα αὐτοῦ ἢ μητέρα αὐτοῦ τελευτήσει θανάτῳEx 21:16
Whosoever shall steal one of the children of Israel, and prevail over him and sell him, and he be found with him, let him certainly die.
Ex 21:16¶“Anyone who kidnaps someone and sells him, or if he is found in his hand, he shall surely be put to death curses his father or his mother shall surely be put to death.

¶“Anyone who curses his father or his mother shall surely be put to death.

He that reviles his father or his mother shall surely die.

¶“If a man strikes his servant or his maid with a rod, and he dies under his hand, he shall surely be punished.
Ex 21:20Ex 21:20ἐὰν δέ τις πατάξῃ τὸν παῖδα αὐτοῦ ἢ τὴν παιδίσκην αὐτοῦ ἐν ῥάβδῳ καὶ ἀποθάνῃ ὑπὸ τὰς χεῖρας αὐτοῦ δίκῃ ἐκδικηθήτωEx 21:20
And if a man smite his man-servant or his maid-servant, with a rod, and the party die under his hands, he shall be surely punished.

¶“If a man strikes his servant or his maid with a rod, and he dies under his hand, he shall surely be punished.
21Ex 21:2121אַ֥ךְ אִם־י֛וֹם א֥וֹ יוֹמַ֖יִם יַעֲמֹ֑ד לֹ֣א יֻקַּ֔ם כִּ֥י כַסְפּ֖וֹ הֽוּא׃ ס Ex 21:21
Notwithstanding, if he gets up after a day or two, he shall not be punished, for he is his property.

¶“If men fight and hurt a pregnant woman so that she gives birth prematurely, and yet no harm follows, he shall be surely fined as much as the woman’s husband demands and the judges allow.
Ex 21:22Ex 21:22ἐὰν δὲ μάχωνται δύο ἄνδρες καὶ πατάξωσιν γυναῖκα ἐν γαστρὶ ἔχουσαν καὶ ἐξέλθῃ τὸ παιδίον αὐτῆς μὴ ἐξεικονισμένον ἐπιζήμιον ζημιωθήσεται καθότι ἂν ἐπιβάλῃ ὁ ἀνὴρ τῆς γυναικός δώσει μετὰ ἀξιώματοςEx 21:22
And if two men strive and smite a woman with child, and her child be born imperfectly formed, he shall be forced to pay a penalty: as the woman's husband may lay upon him, he shall pay with a valuation.
Ex 21:22¶“If men fight and hurt a pregnant woman so that she gives birth prematurely, and yet no harm follows, he shall be surely fined as much as the woman’s husband demands and the judges allow.If two men fight and smite a pregnant woman, and her child should come out not having been fully formed, he will be punished by a fine. He will pay as much as the husband of the woman will determine is worthy.

But if the bull should have been given to goring in former time, and men should have told his owner, and he have not removed him, but he should have slain a man or woman, the bull shall be stoned, and his owner shall die also.
