¶One And one of the seven angels who had holding the seven bowls came and spoke with me, saying, “Come here., and I will show you the judgment of the great prostitute who sits on many waters,

with whom the kings of the earth committed sexual immorality climbed into bed,^[a] and (with whom) those who dwell in (on) the earth were made drunken became drunk with from the wine of her sexual immorality prostitution.”^[b]

He And he carried me away in the Sspirit into a wilderness., and I saw a woman sitting on a scarlet-colored animal beast, that is full of blasphemous names, having seven heads and ten horns.

The And the woman was dressed in having been adorned with purple and scarlet, and having been decked gilded with gold and precious stones and pearls, having holding in her hand a golden cup in her hand full of abominations, and the impurities unclean (things) of the her sexual immorality of the earth.,

And and on her forehead a name was which has been written on a her forehead,^[a] a mystery, “MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF THE PROSTITUTES AND OF THE ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.”

And I saw the woman drunken being drunk with from the blood of the saints holy (ones), and with from the blood of the martyrs of Jesus.; When and I was shocked when I saw her, I wondered with a great amazement shock.

The And the angel said to me, “Why do you wonder were you shocked? I will tell you myself the mystery of the woman, and of the beast that which carries bears her, which that has the seven heads and the ten horns.

The beast that you saw, was, and is not; and is about going to come up rise^[a] out of from the abyss, and to goes into destruction annihilation. Those And those who dwell on the earth, and whose of whom the names have has not been written in on the book of life from the foundation of the world, will marvel when at they seeing that the beast was, and is not, and shall will be present.

Here (is) the mind that has wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which where the woman sits on them.

They And they are seven kings.; Five have fallen the five fell, the one is, the other has did not yet come. When he comes And whenever (the other) should come, he must continue remain a little while.

The And the beast that was, and is not, is himself also an eighth, and is of from the seven;, and he goes into destruction annihilation.

The And the ten horns that you saw are ten kings who have did not yet received no a kingdom as yet, but they receive authority as kings, with the beast, for one hour.

These have one mind a common^[a] idea, and they give their power and authority to the beast.^[b]

These will wage war against with the Llamb,; and the Llamb and those with (the lamb)—called and chosen and faithful—will overcome be victorious over them, for because he (the lamb) is Lord of lLords, and King of kKings. They also will overcome who are with him, called and chosen and faithful.”

He said to And he tells me, “The waters which that you saw, where the prostitute sits, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and languages.

The And the ten horns which that you saw, and the beast, these will hate the prostitute, and will make her when she has been desolated, and they will even make strip^[a] her naked, and will eat her flesh, and will burn her utterly up with fire.
