Ps 28:1

A Psalm of David. To thee, O Lord, have I cried; my God, be not silent toward me: lest thou be silent toward me, and so I should be likened to them that go down to the pit.

Ps 28:0-1

(0) ¶By David. (1)

~~To you, Yahweh, I call.~~: ~~My rock, don’t be deaf to me;~~; ~~lest, if you are silent to me,~~; ~~I would become like those who go down into the pit.~~To you Lord I cried out
¶My God do not pass over me in silence lest you pass by me in silence and should be likened to those who go into the pit (lakko/ pond/lake)

Ps 28:2

Hearken to the voice of my supplication, when I pray to thee, when I lift up my hands toward thy holy temple.

Hear the voice of my petitions, when I cry to you,: when I lift up my hands toward your Most Holy Place.

Ps 28:3

Draw not away my soul with sinners, and destroy me not with the workers of iniquity, who speak peace with their neighbours, but evils are in their hearts.

Ps 28:3

Don’t draw me away with the wicked,: with the workers of iniquity who speak peace with their neighbors,; but mischief is in their hearts.

Ps 28:4

Give them according to their works, and according to the wickedness of their devices: give them according to the works of their hands; render their recompense unto them.

Ps 28:7

The Lord is my helper and my defender; my heart has hoped in him, and I am helped: my flesh has revived, and willingly will I give praise to him.

~~Therefore my heart greatly rejoices.~~: ~~With my song I will thank him.~~The Lord is my Helper and my Protector upon whom my heart trusted and I was helped and he revived my flesh from my will I will be in full consent to Him
