Ps 126:1

A Song of Degrees. When the Lord turned the captivity of Sion, we became as comforted ones.

Ps 126:0-1

When Yahweh brought back those who returned to Zion,: we were like those who dream.

Ps 126:2

Then was our mouth filled with joy, and our tongue with exultation: then would they say among the Gentiles,

Then our mouth was filled with laughter,: and our tongue with singing.
Then they said among the nations,: “Yahweh has done great things for them.”

Ps 126:3

Yahweh has done great things for us,: and we are glad.

Ps 126:6

They went on and wept as they cast their seeds; but they shall surely come with exultation, bringing their sheaves with them.

He who goes out weeping, carrying seed for sowing,

will certainly come again with joy, carrying his sheaves.
