Jon 2:1

Now the Lord had commanded a great whale to swallow up Jonas: and Jonas was in the belly of the whale three days and three nights.

¶Then Jonah prayed to Yahweh, his God, out of the fish’s belly.

And Jonas prayed to the Lord his God out of the belly of the whale,

“I called because of my affliction to Yahweh.: He answered me.
Out of the belly of Sheol I cried.: You heard my voice.

Jon 2:3

and said, I cried in my affliction to the Lord my God, and he hearkened to me, even to my cry out of the belly of hell: thou heardest my voice.

For you threw me into the depths,: in the heart of the seas.
The flood was all around me.: All your waves and your billows passed over me.

Jon 2:4
