Hos 1:1

The word of the Lord which came to Osee the son of Beeri, in the days of Ozias, and Joatham, and Achaz, and Ezekias, kings of Juda, and in the days of Jeroboam son of Joas, king of Israel.

Hos 1:2

The beginning of the word of the Lord by Osee. And the Lord said to Osee, Go, take to thyself a wife of fornication, and children of fornication: for the land will surely go a-whoring in departing from the Lord.

When Yahweh spoke at first by Hosea, Yahweh said to Hosea, “Go, take for yourself a wife of prostitution and children of unfaithfulness; for the land commits great adultery, forsaking Yahweh.”The beginning of the word of The Lord toward Hosea and The Lord said to Hosea

¶Yahweh said to him, “Call his name Jezreel; for yet a little while, and I will avenge the blood of Jezreel on the house of Jehu, and will cause the kingdom of the house of Israel to cease.and The Lord said to him
¶"Call his name Iezrael because in a little while I will execute justice on the blood of Iezrael upon the house of Iou (Jehu) and I will put and end to the kingdom of the house of Israel.

^a construct here is significant because the word θεος (God) does NOT show up here; it is the negation of Exodus 3:14: εγο ειμι has now become εγο ουκ ειμι. The word "God" is in the phrase "Ego Eimi", only here it is negated
